None. While Netflix has really added a shitload of great content in the past year, I still find myself endlessly scrolling through titles to find something I really want to watch.

Lately I'm into watching classic sci-fi but all the Sci-fi on netflix is fairly recent. So in the end I turn to Youtube. Last night I watched the original "Things to come" by HG Wells. Surprisingly good.

The last few movies I watched on Netflix were:

Ex Machina. ok.
Citizen Koch. Ok.
Family Guy & American Dad - Hilarious
Interstellar. Good.
Orange is the new Black. Good, but bored of it now.

I still get amazed on how many people have never seen narcos,
if you haven't seen that one... Get ready for one of the best series you ever watched.
How its based on a true story makes it absolutely amazing.

flashfire 12-10-2015 11:21 AM

Spatacus

stick with it, it starts off a little cheesy but gets gooood

k0nr4d 12-10-2015 11:23 AM

not sure if it's on netflix as we don't get it here, but manhattan sucked me in pretty good. Black sails is also good

Elli 12-10-2015 11:51 AM

Cute little murder mysteries: Death in Paradise
Really excellent miniseries: House of Cards (BBC)
Narcos, Peaky Blinders, House of Cards, Bojack Horseman (Netflix) all excellent

Nicky 12-10-2015 12:01 PM

Narcos, House of Cards, Peaky Blinders, The Killing, Arrested Development, Halt and Catch Fire, Person of Interest to name a few. Narcos should be priority

j3rkules 12-10-2015 12:15 PM

Check out Ex Machina.

I second Peaky Blinders, great show

JFK 12-10-2015 12:32 PM

How about Ilsa the She Wolf of the SS :jerkoff :thumbsup

PR_Glen 12-10-2015 12:33 PM

i'm sure you watched most of the obviously popular ones but there's a few hidden gems in there that i really liked.

the good wife (lots of episodes, court/trial stuff)
the killing (first 2 seasons have you all over the place but great story telling)
river (think its like 6 episodes but there is a LOT of good story in there)

not sure if you get these or not, we don't in canada, but still good:

justified
vikings

CarlosTheGaucho 12-10-2015 01:29 PM

Not sure if they offer it, but recently watched:

http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV...14,317_AL_.jpg

Generation Kill (TV Mini-Series 2008) - IMDb

Thought it was solid as it describes 6 months of the "Iraqi freedom" operation and all the absurdities portrayed are what actually happened.

bronco67 12-10-2015 01:38 PM

Aziz Ansari's show Master of None was great.

Spartacus should be experience by everyone.

and I'll second the recommendation for The Killing. They really drag it out with a lot of red herrings, but it's so good -- and Holder is one of the best TV characters in a long time. So quotable.

cosis 12-10-2015 01:49 PM

election, open water, fatal attraction, would you rather

Ferus 12-10-2015 01:57 PM

You should revisit this one. I know it appeals to your softer side

Too many of the American series seemed to be written by ticking boxes.

Do we have the divorced or widowed dad, with kid/kids, that are getting in the way of the job? Maybe throw in a new GF to get in the way of the plot and stretch the series out a few episodes. None of these have anything to do with the theme, plotline or outcome.

If a cop, is he a rogue cop?

Then we need the pointless sex scenes and, of course, everyone but the geeks or nerds needs to be dead drop gorgeous.

Then squeeze it all, with a successful outcome, into 40 minutes. Does 40 minutes need any padding?

Enjoying Man in the High Castle at the moment.

Don't have NetFlix ...

I concur. Both are great series. If Spartacus is on there, you most def need to check that out. One of my all-time favorite series. :thumbsup

candyflip 12-10-2015 05:32 PM

If you haven't seen The Killing, it's worth checking out.

The first season is probably the best who done it that leaves you guessing until about 10 seconds before the credits roll.

TwinCities 12-10-2015 05:58 PM

"Bloodline" series was awesome. Netflix original.

Personally I love peaky blinders!! But I believe the content of Netflix depends on the region you live/subscribed.

OldNew Dana 12-11-2015 06:41 AM

I love Netflix.... Watch it nearly every day.

bronco67 12-11-2015 06:08 PM

I hear that Adam Sandler's new Netflix all star cast western is very bad. Might be a good curiosity watch.

No arguing about tastes, but this is what I've liked on Netflix lately:

Just watched a documentary about the making of Star Trek: The Next Generation with William Shattner interviewing the writers and - except for Gene Roddenberry who's dead - all the producers. I learned a lot and - it's entertaining/funny. Stray episodes of STNG.

Watched "The Civil War" by Ken Burns for the second time, awesome. Started "The West" produced by Ken Burns - but seemed to be politically charged.

Some good series about secret weapons of the Third Reich. Nazi Mega Weapons.

The Marco Polo miniseries was pretty good.

CSA: The Confederate States of America is a mocumentary that assumes the South won in the Civil War and has some pretty funny moments.

British Sci-Fi series, The Dark Mirror is inconsistent - but the first one, about a terrorist who forces the Prime Minister to have sex with a pig in a live telecast was really funny.

And stray episodes of Breaking Bad are always fun.

After Porn Ends was decent, and Hot Girls Wanted is interesting, but heavy-handed. Boogie Nights is a classic.
