German court lets off 'Sharia police' patrol in Wuppertal (Germany)
 

A German court has ruled that Islamists who patrolled a city's streets as "Sharia police" did not break the law and will not be prosecuted.

Nine were arrested in September 2014 after patrolling streets in Wuppertal, western Germany. They wore bright orange jackets with the words "Sharia police". They told passers-by not to frequent discos, casinos or bars.

At the very least, all their ''social benefits'' paid by the German government should be revoked for 5 years. Just for being a social nuisance. Supporting bad behavior is lunacy.

I agree they shouldn't be allowed to use the wording "Police". Imposing a police office is illegal in the USA. Granted these guys wearing orange obviously don't look like police uniforms so maybe that angle won't work.

They are in effect "protesting" and targeting legal businesses with intent to cause financial harm, closure, of those businesses. No way that can be legal or should be tolerated.

Only thing I dont get, is that if they are doing this in Germany, why is the word 'Police' written in English? Surely it should be in German?

Judging from what I can read through the news report, what they are saying is not different than what you (legally)could get away putting in an newspaper ad, but a newpaper editor would most likely veto the ad from showing up in the paper.

Muslims patrols have been going on in the UK for a while now, they want to segregate, even among Muslim communities they choose to live apart from a different cult of Islam.
