Anyone else have problems connecting to Skype?

Since the last update (earlier today) I can't connect to Skype on my laptop/desktop. I'm getting the error "Sorry, we couldn't connect to Skype".

I have no problems on my phone.

You use Windows? Download a different version, not the version that is included in your Windows

No issues here. I'm running the Skype for desktop on Windows 10, not that dumb full screen app one.

Ravo!
I had the same problem last week.
Try to find/download something called "Multi Skype Launcher" and try with the second version of Skype, that might work for you.

Had a problem yesterday on laptop. Kept shutting itself down before it would open. Took like 4 tries then worked.

Every morning for the last couple months. Usually have to restart 2 or 3 times in the morning for it to work. Maybe too many contacts. :)

Almost every day. lol

Have you done any modifications?
I refuse their intrusive, blinking ads, so I block their adserver in my Hosts-file. My advice is typically to remove/reverese such own, un-supported modifications before updating and then turn them back on afterwards.
