Why does my wifes poo always float? Serious Question

She eats and drinks pretty much the same as me but mine come out loose and hers floats.
Sometimes even after 3 flushes the poo still doesn't go..
I guess it's something in her diet but what could it be if we both eat more of less the same?

SekobA 12-12-2015 02:50 PM

I expected to see serious poo pic :pimp

Sorry to disappoint. I was going to take a photo before when I saw the latest one but I didn't think it critical to the thread. If it's still there next time I go for a piss I will take a photo and share it.

Yeah, ok but neither do I.

Her body is utilizing protein better than your body. Is she more active than you?

WTF!!

Surely hard poo sinks, like rocks. Why would a hard poo float?
A poo full of air or whatever should float but not hard I don't think..

I think mine are mainly type 7 but it's difficult to diagnose hers as the diagram doesn't say if they float or not.
I suppose it could be type one or type two so the obvious next question is why is she constipated or very constipated?

Bare in mind she eats and drinks basically the same as me.

Thankyou.

To answer I would need to taste it. Can that be arranged?

On a serious note though, and not meant to be alarming, but has she tested herself for Diabetes? She can pee on a diastix (available from all chemists) and check this easily at home.

The reason I say this is that I have type 2 diabetes and although I never had any of the classic symptoms (Thirst, peeing a lot, tiredness etc) I did have a lot of floating stools. Apparently its caused by the excessive sugar in the blood and body being expelled into the poo. This can cause it to float...

Floating poo itself is not specifically an indicator of diabetes above all else, and 99 times out of 100 its just a dietary thing, but worth bearing in mind if it continues :thumbsup

Thanks CS, your input is invaluable but I don't think it's going to be diabetes as I say she is healthy and eats pretty much the same as me. No one in the family has diabetes although I think her Dad has gout.
Anyway, if 99 out of 100 it's a diet thing lets presume it's her diet.
What is causing her poo to float?

That's disgusting. You both have issues if you're evaluating each others shit.

DamnSexy 12-12-2015 04:27 PM

Poo floats when it contains too much gas .

It can happen if you change your diet often, for exemple, you will eat vegetables and salads for a while and then you start to eat fat meat.

No need to worry unless it goes on for months, some illnesses can have this symptom.

Floating poo is a red flag your wife may be a reptilian shape shifter.
