The way things appear to be shaping up

...it is possible that once again I may not vote for someone to fill the office of President. I cannot bring myself to vote for someone that I do not think should be President.

We always vote for the lesser of two evils. Every four years like clockwork.

In the past I have sometimes voted for the Presidency using the same thinking as you...but it becomes a problem for me when I cannot ascertain which is a lesser "evil".

In other words when I make a list of the pros and cons and they balance out the same it makes it difficult for me to pick a lesser "evil".

Vote for an independent as a form of 'protest vote'. Sends the message you're not happy with the other two main candidates.

In my opinion not voting for any of the nominees...including "third party" nominees...sends the same message. Of course if there is a suitable "third party" nominee then it is an option. I think that all of the ballots should have a "non of the above option".
