Is this for real? Canada kills 300,000 baby seals per year
If it is, its sad.
|
Where do you expect us to source our genuine Saskatchewan sealskin bindings?
|
|
|
That's soooooo fucked up. Asian countries get a lot of heat for their shit, but wow, right here at our American home we allow this type of bullshit. Sick, sad, stupid fuckers.

Do you mean white coats, when you're talking baby seal?
|
ya, people and their dumbfuck "ancient rituals" or whatever, like this shit in Nepal
"Deopokhari festival", they have a group of retards who rip a goat into peices with their teeth, hands, :disgust |
Heritage my ass! We've got supermarkets now. They like our modern society for power, tv, phones, cars, etc. Just not it's food.
Can I use the heritage excuse too? Well it's my peoples heritage to kill, rape and steal their land. Problem solved. |
wow, ~800 baby seals killed every day for heritage.

And what about horse slaughter plants? These are PETS! Yet people hit them with a nail in the brain to stun them and then slice their throat and hang them by a foot so they bleed out. Race horses, show horses, PMU horses who have had to stand month after month bagged to give urine while being pregnant so that women can have their hormone therapy only to have babies that no one wants for them all to be killed. It's a cruel cruel world. And for the people who kill these animals every day of their lives, I can't imagine what their lives are like. How immune they become to the feelings of other living things. How insensitive they become to everything. I would never want to live that way. |

It has to do with how they were born, we make the cows fuck and those do not count because they would not have been born anyway but the seals are born in the wild so they should be left alone. Just like the dolphins,
That and the fact that they beat them with clubs doesn't help much either LOL |
Fucking ********** grrrrrr.... :mad::mad::mad:
|
Ashamed I am... I checked some news and looks like in 2015 the fucked up Harper government of Canada made the quota to 468K
Fucking disgusting : Canadian Government's seal hunt allows almost HALF A MILLION to be slaughtered for fur | Daily Mail Online |

And crockett would claim it is republicans (or republican supported companies) doing their dirty work if that was in US :1orglaugh |
I can see him now...pulls up in his Chevy Volt. Takes a moment to post about how much he loves the Democrat Party in the United States and how stupid everyone is that doesn't agree with each and everything that Pres. Obama says.
Then he hops out of his "car" with his IPhone in one hand (talking to crockett) and a club in the other. :( |
Probably works up an appetite before heading back home in his Volt to dine on baby porpoise sprinkled with elephant tusk dust.
But at least he's helping us all by keeping his "carbon footprint" low. :( I wonder if we could beat "manmade" global warming if all humans just stopped exhaling? |
source: Canadian Seal Harvest ââ?¬â?? Myths and Realities
The Northwest Atlantic harp seal population is healthy and abundant with an estimated population of 7.4 million animals, almost six times what it was in the 1970s. The commercial seal harvest is managed on the basis of sound conservation principles to ensure the resource is conserved for generations to come. Management decisions are based on long-term conservation and sustainability principles and take into consideration the departmentâ??s management plan, the latest science advice (including changes in reproductive rates, the effects of climate change, ice conditions, etc.) and consultation with industry. The harvesting of harp seal pups (whitecoats) and hooded seal pups (bluebacks) is illegal in Canada and has been since 1987. The seals that are harvested are self-reliant, independent animals. |

My real response: Humans are the assholes at the party of life. We kill, take away land, consume mass quantities of food and plasticy junk, and then when we see an injured animal we spring into action to help it and we pat ourselves on the back for "caring for animals". |

********** never rests.
He won't be happy until the Democrat Party is the only party to vote for in the U.S. He won't stop until we all stop exhaling out carbon dioxide when we breathe. And he won't be satisfied until every last cute baby seal is mounted on the mantle piece of his energy efficient home. Damn him! Damn him to hell!!! |
Thats very sad so young :disgust

Breeding animals for human consumption should have never happened thousands of years ago..... i know there must have been some extreme scenario that pushed a human over the edge to think "hey, i'm going to take this life, to eat", since we have so many other things in the world, pick apples and mangos off trees, potatoes and peanuts from the ground, etc etc What drove mankind to this shit. And then there's those little dick motherfuckers still out there who still think "im a meat eater! i drink beer! i have a ford truck or a jeep and i'm 100% born and bred American (or whichever country)" retarded :disgust |
Really fucked up. I understand that the people who live really far North eat Seal Meat and its a way of life and survival for them, but killing them for fur is fucking disgusting. Killing any animals for their fur is wrong in my opinion.

''DFO has conducted extensive scientific research, in collaboration with independent scientific experts and the fishing industry, to improve our understanding of the complex relationships between grey seals and other components of the Atlantic coastal ecosystem, including Atlantic cod. While much research remains to be done, the lack of cod recovery in the southern Gulf of St. Lawrence appears to be due to high mortality among larger cod. Predation by grey seals may account for up to 50 percent of this natural mortality, making them a major factor limiting the recovery of this cod stock. The Department continues to study the interaction between grey seals in Quebec and Atlantic Canada and this information will be used to inform management of both the seal harvest and the cod fishery.'' |
