RIP Joe Cocker

|
Well that sucks ..... R. I. P. !
Saw him live over the years, first time Leon Russell was playing piano for him, latest was when he opened for Tina Turner. |
I thought he died years ago.
R.I.P. best porn name for a rocker EVER. |
Such a loss. RIP

My wife just yelled upstairs to me that he'd died. Ya, ya...blame the wife. :1orglaugh |
Oh, that's sad. RIP man, we all will be there some day. He was da man!
|
|
Even worse - I'm lookin' at one of his vids on youtube - and noticed one of the top commenters saying RIP - was me...a year ago. :1orglaugh
They say the braincells are the first to go. |

Yep that was sad news.

Thanks for letting me know he didn't die 10 years ago.
|
For the record - I fired Steve Harvey as my fact checker.

Always loved this one... RIP (again) for an amazing singer. Mad Dogs and Englishmen is one of the all time great live albums far as I am concerned. Leon Russell. Say no more. |
The wife and I rented 9 1/2 Weeks last weekend (she forced me to sit through 50 Shades...so I retaliated with Kim Basinger) - and it was amazing how the 'You Can Leave Your Hat On' scene in the living room was still hot.

I heard Joe wasn't expecting John to join him on stage, let alone do an impression of him. And was pissed off that his gig had been turned into a comedy skit without him being told about it beforehand. And he considered suing SNL over it for a while. I suppose Joe eventually came to his senses and appreciated it for the epicness that it was. RIP to both Joe and John. :thumbsup |

Thank you for bringing up [i]Leave Your Hat On[i]. That was probably my favorite Cocker piece. His Beatles cover was fine, but no where close to LYHO.
|
