Did Xmas & Star Wars wipe out adult sales?
 

I've hit lows before, but never like this month. I know holiday shopping wipes out most of the disposable cash, and whatever was left over surely was used to buy a ticket to go see Star Wars. ($228 million last weekend in sales came from some place)

So that leaves $ 0 left over for those impulsive online adult purchases.

Anybody else feeling the crunch of wiped out December sales?

December is always slow, but I have to see our merchants (overall) seem to be on pace. To me the month is down, but not as bad as it was the year before.

Sales have increased for us. december looks good so far

Comparing sales is always an unreliable conversation because everyone's "sales" are different. But compared to last year, our December sales are up about 11% BUT compared to November (of this year) sales are down 15%.

Negative. December is a great month for porn. There are odd days like 8th to about 18th where things go funky. But then more than rebound. Believe or not there are millions of single men and women who are using more porn this month than any other month. So sales should go gang busters from here on out.

That has always been my experience as well. But for some reason, this year, we had a weird stagnant period of about 10 days, like you said. Never had that before (only the odd day or two).

I think December is a good month for sales...people buy themselves some good porn for their present

The December slow down as been a fact of life since we started in online sales twenty years ago. People spend less money on porn (and other more mainstream online companies like dating), and more money on gifts. For the average person, Christmas is a huge financial strain. For others it seems to take up a lot of time and effort - people are shopping.

We'll see a boost on December 26th, and then another crappy month in January as the credit card bills come due.

Besides that we run some strong promos this month as well boosting initial paysite sales.

Yes xmas for cams is good. Seen load some $500 tip xmas gifts which saved it all. Cams it is mostly about betgging for gifts and xmas is good timing.

This month doing good so far, slightly better then last month.

Today, yesterday and probably tomorrow a bit less but overall december doing good.
