A man was arrested for border violation because...
He had no necessary veterinary docs for his tomcat and decided to cross the border illegally (through the forest to evade customs). He was caught by the FSB patrol and fined for 1000 rubles (about $14 USD) for the border violation. After that he was released and allowed to cross the border along with his pet.
