Thinking of blogging for money?
You might want to check this out first so you don't start things off on the wrong foot.
When it comes to blogging success, a quote from the classic movie "Apocalypse Now" is extremely appropriate: "Don't get off the boat, unless you're prepared to go all the way" or else... http://i.imgur.com/Nz5zWwg.gif |

You want easy fast money then sell drugs, huge demand, huge profits, some risk sure but the bigger the risk the bigger the rewards!
Best of luck with this and all your future endeavors. |
Most fail cause they are started by people that just wanna start a blog or cause they have a cool domain for it. Picking something that you have an interest in will ensure you keep it updated and put the work in as it won't seem so much like work if you enjoy it. :2 cents:

Fairly obvious input, but apparently, it really is that.
|
I blog about your blogs.
|
Wordpress is probably one of the best things you can work on, still.

Never had a real blog , maybe I'll start something after I will finish some existing projects , but It will be a mainstream blog I want to try some mainstream too !

They're all over the place on Facebook/Twitter. They're scarce on Google though :winkwink::helpme |
There have been a lot of people asking me in the past how to make money blogging but also don't even know basic HTML, that's the problem...

how many blogs have 500,000 uniques a month? 80% of "bloggers" never make a dime.
|
blogging died out for awhile but seems to be making a comeback for those who figured out how to get traffic from social media.

Blogs still make money if you know how to do it...

Adult "bloggers" are 99% just websites on a blogging cms, why wouldn't it work if you know what you're doing? :winkwink:
The only difference is that Google isn't favoring WP for no reason like they used to do.. |

Most fail because they rely too much on Search Engines!!!!
The content isn't worth bookmarking and people never return. |
Thanks for posting those links, mce, they look as if they might have some useful thoughts and info.
I started my blog "Erotica Is My Trade" in 2011 to promote my freelance business and my self-published erotica ebooks. I write about my long career in porn and also do the occasional book or clip review. I never figured on making money with it, but using it for the self-promotion. Although I know I get visitors from all over, I get very few comments and sometimes feel as if I'm sending my posts into a void! Other bloggers have complained about this. Comments used to be more common before the days of rampant texting, I think...people are writing enough just communicating in their daily lives. Still, I continue with the blog to push the ebooks and keep my portfolio online. It's hard to tell if the blog helps with the ebook sales, but I enjoy blogging: it's a lot like editing magazines was for me, combining writing with the visual aspects. And I was a magazine editor for almost thirty years. |
