I do now. Just joined a great one late on Xmas day. So far its been worth every penny.

Do you pay a sub to any non porn sites and if so which ones / what type?

(Entertainment sites - Not biz related)

Safaribooksonline.com

I recently payed $200 for a year membership (black friday). Has O'Reilly media books, Packt Pub, Big Nerd Ranch. Books come out fast and that's why they have early and raw cut editions before the official editions come out.

Good old C programming books from the 80's will actually work but a book for a modern technology, if it's even just a few months out of date, it means a lot of the code may be broken.

Coast To Coast AM.com - something like $7.95 a month for the Podcasts. GREAT listening on long planes rides, trips, etc.

Does Amazon Prime count?

A (non-Adult) Dating site - paid for a 3 month subscription, forgot about it, rebilled....such a noob I am. LOL

Netflix - just signed up for some TV shows I want to catch up on.

In The Studio.net with Red Beard - awesome Classic Rock radio interviews. I pay for the Podcasts but you can get a shit ton for free. Awesome site if you love rock music (as I do).

That's about it I think....I need some new hobbies. LOL But the problem is I just don't see the Internet as a place for fun. I see it as my office so when I am done working I am DONE and don't want to be in front of a screen anymore. :)

Google Expert 12-29-2015 10:58 AM

The real problem is, when you work from home, it's hard to want to stop working!

Especially if you're single with no kids.

Adraco 12-29-2015 11:27 AM

I pay for the Premier League soccer games.

I pay for Microsoft Office 365.

If you're the photographer who's in the pics? :)

chaze 12-29-2015 11:45 AM

I did amazon prime for a while, not bad. Also newegg has a membership that wasn't bad.

Oh and Pandora.

I would do a news one if it was good enough.

Netflix, xbox, if that counts.

stopitbrrruce 12-29-2015 11:50 AM

Off the top of my head:

Spotify
Hulu
Apple Music
Amazon Prime
Playstation Plus

That sounds awesome. Especially true of web programming. Just a few years and everything has changed so much.
