I ask because my husband and I got into a huge fight because he only got 3 gifts for Christmas. He said all of his friends were commenting on facebook about all the great things they got, and I haven't seen one of my guy friends brag about anything they got yet.

Didn`t want anything more. Just something I needed...a quality watch. :)

Genuinely sorry to hear of your situation. Personally, it wouldn`t matter to me if I didn`t receive anything. We spent a shed load of cash on our little boy...he`s the important one in this situation.

Haha, I nailed it. The thing is and not saying this is you but most women would go batshit if we gave them socks for Christmas. But guys get that shit all the time. Not a huge deal as most of us get used to it but over time it can seem like a real deficit in attention from your loved one.

There is even a commercial on here about a guy giving his wife a vacuum cleaner and instead it should be jewelry. Jewelry store ad but the idea is the same.
