Calling Out Mike South (plagiarism / drama / he should apologize)
 

I lost track in all of the xxxjay threads, but could somebody would be kind enough to find where Mike accused me of "taking advantage of Lemmy's death" (which isn't the case). As much as he likes to criticize me for it, he certainly doesn't mind plagiarizing me.

My post date shows the 30th but it was posted on the 29th because my servers (National Net) are on the East Coast.

There is no way that is just a coincidence. Normally, I wouldn't care, but seeing as I had to take so much shit on this board over my post, especially from him... How is it you get to drag my ass all over GFY while you are copying me at the same time?

That's fine, Mike if your two digit IQ cannot conjure up a proper original post, it is perfectly fine to curate material from other blogs, just remember to site the source.

Not sure why everyone is jumping all over xxxjay for complaining about being plagiarized. Writers have a sense of pride and ownership of their work, it's their passion come to life in words. When someone plagiarizes their work, it does something far beyond pissing them off. If it's ever happened to you, then you'll understand xxxjay's outrage.

With that said, I read both articles and there are similarities, but I would be a little gun shy to call plagiarism on this one. Lemmy hung out at AVN, and other adult-oriented events, which both xxxjay and MikeSouth also attended. Therefore, the circumstances of their meetings could possibly be very similar. The last line is a very popular line used when someone of note passes. When Carlin died, Heaven got a new funny man. When Hitler died, hell got a new boss. When Cosby dies, Hitler better watch his asshole. :winkwink: If it were something a little more unique, then yeah, I'd agree, but this is an extremely popular comment. Especially to end eulogy pieces.

Both guys are in the adult industry. Both men met Lemmy in similar circumstances. It's not far fetched to think articles written by both men would share similarities. :2 cents:

I admitted that there was a chance of there being coincidences.

What pissed me off is the 50 troll threads Mike spawned and participated in bashing me. I never stated that Lemmy was my best friend. I just said he knew my name, and that's more than most people could say.

The main reason I posted it, was because I went to his 70th birthday party four days before that. I have known Lemmy for 20 years and never asked him for a picture. When I saw him on his 70th birthday, he looked to be in visibly bad shape, that is why I got that picture taken because I had a feeling it would be the last time I'd see him alive.

I wish the guy was still here and sitting at the rainbow with the jack and Coke right now. I miss him. I've been dating the girl who's the bartender at the rainbow on and off for years, -- of course I knew him a lot better than most people.
