Twitter And SEO Are The Same Thing Now
 

For those of you that didn't know, Twitter quietly "opened the fire-hose" to all of its data to google a few months ago.

Just having a Twitter account is not enough, just like Google used to have, it has a sandbox and before you can start tweeting external links., you have to get out of that sandbox.

Once you do get out of the sandbox, I think you'll be surprised at the results if you tweet from non-spam accounts.

Here is another tip, that a lot of people don't know. Go to your twitter account. Type "somethingreallyunique5876876875" (it doesn't matter it could be anything) and then search for it on Twitter.

If it doesn't show in the search results, your account is still in the sandbox and you can promote external links

At least if you're going to push JVZoo or Clickbank products then push something of usefulness or some level of quality. Not this rubbish.

Jay, it's an old product (in IM terms), it's been done to death already.

It's also flawed, because it's based on assumptions that just aren't correct.

Not surprising though, it comes from the same guy(s) behind the https://iftttseo.com/ products that would have to be some of the worst SEO advice ever presented in training - EVER.

I thought you, of all people here, had at least some basic understanding of this stuff.

I respectfully disagree with you, I think of all the SEO communities they're the best.

I've always been into automating content syndication, way back since when RSS first came out, once I started IFTT I started getting much better results for myself and my clients. I can only speak from experience. I went to one OMG event and thought it was a fucking joke.

That course is awesome. I wouldn't exactly call at 2005 but it's some pretty cutting edge stuff

You just signed up to promote the product on JVZoo and then put together an affiliate redirect on a url of your own domain but you had absolutely no idea how much it was or how much you would make per sale as an affiliate.

My advice to anyone thinking about buying into this stuff is stay away, it's not worth $1.97 let alone $197.

What I don't get is if something is so ridiculously good in terms of ranking, why exploit it even further publicly and create more work for yourself in the future? Sharing privately I get. Just not publicly.

If you can't get a page to index. Try tweeting from a goog, active and relevant account and watch what happens.

Better yet, embed the tweet in one of your Web 2.0 properties. Especially google ones.
