Philly cop shot by gunman while sitting in his car .....

"Philadelphia Police Captain James Clark said the suspect, identified as Edward Archer, "stated that he pledges his allegiance to Islamic State, he follows Allah and that is the reason he was called upon to do this."

The gunman, now in custody, "confessed to committing this cowardly act in the name of Islam," Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross said during a news conference. "According to him, he believed that the police defend laws that are contrary to the teachings of the Quran."


But being politically correct Philly's mayor states the following ...


Mayor Kenney said today of the shooting, "It's terrible and it does not represent the religion [Islam] in any way shape or form or any of its teachings."
"This is a criminal with a stolen gun who tried to kill one of our officers," Kenney said. "Has nothing to do with being a Muslim or following the Islamic faith."


So who to believe? I'm going with the guy caught doing the shooting.

How many times are we going to hear about this kind of thing happening and be told that it has nothing to do with Islam? It has everything to do with Islam. This was a "devout" Muslim according to his mother! Maybe he was hearing voices - maybe, but more likely it will be a defense in his trial rather than reality. I certainly wouldn't want to live next door to any Muslim and I don't care if it's politically correct or not! Look at the sexual harassment and rape of the Swedish and German women already.
