The subtext is a bit hard to wrap your head around but it was all one big metaphor for Romanian communism.

Damn, forgot Kim Cattrall was in this movie... loved it as a teenager. For obvious reasons... lol

It was funny, but I like the scene right after that where the principal is told what happened by the gym teacher. I think its something like 5 minutes long without a single cut. I laughed at the shower scene for sure but when I saw this scene right after it I was on the floor laughing so hard. Epic.

Brilliant movie and probably the pinnacle of American cinema.

It's actually a Canadian flick... so there's that. According to IMDB, it was the highest grossing movie from Canada for 24 years. I guess sex sells...
