...of Canada.

There I said it.

John McCain was born in Panama. The Republicans can't find a decent American to run. I am guessing the big issue is who is willing to "deny global warming." You need someone who has to sell their soul at the first step and that is getting harder to find.

crockett 01-12-2016 07:37 AM

It's ok guys.. Jeez it's not like he's black no need to worry where he was born because he's all white so he's all right.. He can't even be a Muslim like Obama..

TCLGirls 01-12-2016 07:38 AM

Yeah...but as for John Mccain, he was born in the Panama Canal zone, and at that time when he was born there, it was a US territory.

Calgary, where Ted Cruz was born, was never a US territory.

bronco67 01-12-2016 07:49 AM

He can call himself an American citizen, which is fine. But mainly he's a giant, gaping asshole.

TCLGirls 01-12-2016 07:56 AM

In all honesty, the issue of whether Cruz is eligible to be President is still unsettled. No one can know for sure yet until the SCOTUS rules or Congress clarifies.

"The legal and constitutional issues around qualification for the presidency on grounds of US citizenship are “murky and unsettled”, according to the scholar cited by Donald Trump in his recent attacks on Ted Cruz."

So Cruz can be President but my son can't? Go fuck yourself.

Holy shit what a fucking prick he is. I never liked the guy, but now I hate is guts. No wonder his peers hate him too.

If Donald Trump would highlight this instead of going on about yet another birther issue, he would shave a few points off of Cruz's popularity for sure.

Setting aside all of the political noise....

We need to re-define the "natural born citizen" issue. I believe in order to be a natural born citizen you must be born in the United States, with no exceptions. If you are born outside of the United States to an American citizen, you can naturalized but you should not automatically be considered a natural born citizen. I also believe that being born within the United States should be a basic requirement for being President.

I don't believe McCain should be eligible to be president. He was born on a United States military base in Panama. Ted Cruz also should not be eligible to be president - He was born in Canada. (It's stunning to me that a member of the United States Congress had dual citizen in another country!)

This has nothing to do with politics for me, it's just plain common sense and should apply to all countries - In order to be a leader of a country, the very basic requirement should be having been born in the country. Hitler was born in Austria yet became the leader of Germany - This shouldn't be possible.

In all fairness, I believe as the law stands right now Ted Cruz has the legal right to run for President and if he wins assume office. However, I believe our Constitution should be changed to make being born within US borders a basic requirement to be President.

Army family is stationed in Germany. Family has baby. Family is serving their country and you want to deny the child natural American status because they are in a different country?

Rochard, ex-Marine, says "fuck you" to military families.

I am not saying "fuck you" to anyone. I am saying that in order to be natural born citizen you need to be born in the United States. If someone is born outside of the United States to American parents, they can be naturalized, and become a United States Citizen.

If Ted Cruz is the best the Republicans can come up with to stop Trump they are in for a serious beating, Either way their party will never be the same.... If they don't elect a president this term the party will fall apart as the rank and file republicans have been lied to so long that they are swarming to Trump.

Even the Koch brothers are withholding funds as they dont see a viable candidate.

Would we be so bad off if the republican party dissolved into two or three different parties ? They havent done jack shit so I dont think so.

CHUCK TODD:

But do you have a question mark?

DONALD TRUMP:

Let me tell you. From Ted's standpoint and from the party's standpoint, he has to solve this problem. Because the Democrats will sue him if he's the nominee. If Ted is the nominee, he will be sued by the Democrats. And according to one of the great lawyers of the country at Harvard, with strong opinions on this, the whole thing has not been-- as he said, this matter has not been determined.
he also tweeted about it. so easy to expose how you just throw crap out in the wind, fact free.

:)

I just don't get the Republican party. Everyone knows exactly what they need to do, and they do the direct opposite. The number one thing they need to do is get the Hispanic vote, and the very first thing Trump did was say "Mexicans are rapists".

muthisdev 01-13-2016 12:05 AM

It's time the US changes its policy on this. It's bullshit fodder for liberals and conservatives to argue about.

Don't vote for Ted Cruz because he's a fuckhead. Who gives a shit if he was born in Canada?

Fuck. In 2003 people wanted to change the rules so Schwarzenegger could run.

My thoughts? Change it. Move past this Real Ameircan / Fake American bullshit and move on.
