What would be the most desirable domains to own for the Chinese/ oriental market ?

The answer for China is mainly Dot Com and Dot CN:

2L, 3L, 4L (without the letters A, E, I, O, U, V)

2N, 3N, 4N, 5N (without the numbers 4, 0, 1)

Certain combinations work in certain cases.
With numbers 7, 8 and 9 are favored too.

Also the more premium are ones with repeaters:
For example: 77538.com or MMTG.com

Interesting , i have domain on net extension with 4 numbers which includes number seven, and i get constant spam e-mails( i say spam as it coming to domain e-mail, and i automatically marks such e-mails as spam regardless of content) how they want to buy my domain. Since it is always in bad english, i ignore them, plus i dont think such domain can get any good price anyway. Perhaps i am wrong? Perhaps i should list price for domain on domain page? I even checked com version, and there is indeed a chinese website there, tho no club about what it is as i dont read chinese.

There is zero interest in adult domains now. That market is dead.

Certain letters they do not buy, vowels mostly and a couple of others. Also they stay away from number 4 as well. Right now Chinese people are snapping up 2L 3L and 4L domain names. The less characters > more money.

I thought 8 was the magic number? - I was looking at gambling domains for the Chinese market and it was a minefield...

there are some combinations that are worth allot of money.
168 means like prosper together and 520 means i love you.
