These awards have no meaning to me because as you say people beg for votes and often its friends of friends who win as well as get selected.

Non of these awards have any value.

I think awards means to webmaster for their hardwork. We ask people to vote, we don't put pressure to vote for us, vote for any one who you think is the best! Who ever wins, must deserve it. Those who lose must do hard work for the next year! its a motivation nothing else. We are not winning any cash price here

However, I did vote for Paul Markham and JFK.

Why? Because they are not assholes and don't need to beg for votes. Their reputations speak for themselves.

Some of the douche bags on those lists don't even contribute to this board anymore.

I tell you why I consider the votes have no meaning, as for one thing they seem to be only for USA firms. As in people who know each other.

Its very rare I see UK sites included, and those that do are again friends of friends.

One suspects that if your a UK firm and fly out to all the events and get your face seen, then, yes you may get nominated.

But in truth its meaningless.

And in most cases will do very little to get more business.

They don't deserve GFY AWARDS... They should go some where else

For us it's important , because those awards mean somethng , for our investment , our money and our hard work to keep up a high standards.The studio , the new design , a bigger team that means more girls working as a live cam girls. From there, it s up to who is doin t money on them . So , if the awards goes for real, to the ones that trully win, that means their work have been apreciated and it will help for marketing too.

So we contribute to this industry too .
