Republicans and Trump whine about American's being released. .

These dumb fucks will whine about anything. Several Americans were released due to a prisoner exchange with Iran.

Republicans in their endless need to whine and cry about everything are whining and crying about thsee Americans getting released because it was a deal with Iran...

I can't wait to read the whines from our fellow GFY republicans when they explain how horrible Kerry and Obama are for working out a deal to get our fellow American citizens home..

How exactly do two boats loaded with Seals get captured by Iranians in fishing boats anyway?

No time to look into it, but obummers are the ones who manages to release 5 for 1 traitor back, so I would not be surprised if republicans are correct here as well.

Those guys were released the next day with out any deals.. It was American's who here held prisoner in Iran, one being a news journalist and a few others who were released. Another was released a few days ago who was a college student..

Republicans are mad that captive civilians were released thanks to diplomacy... Diplomacy = falling profits for Boeing, Haliburtian and all the other war contractors who love the tuff talk go to war every 8 to 10 years....

Not to mention part of Reagan's deal with Iran, was to hold the prisoners captive until after the election thereby barging to keep them captive longer so he could look good after the election and make Carter look worse..

One of the many reasons Regan was a giant pile of dog turd.. He showed he was even a bigger piece of shit when he made Ollie North take the fall for him and having him spend time in prison for Reagan's crime.

The way the Republicans handled this was very immature. Hours after this incident happened Republicans were calling Obama "spineless" and saying he "wasn't leader". This was a routine diplomatic issue, and it was properly and quickly handled exactly as it should be. A quick investigation was conducted, no wrong doing was found, so they were released.

What was the other option? Immediately launching an attack on Iran? Threatening them?

After they were released the Republicans tried to make an issue out of the United States apologizing over the incident. This is what diplomatic countries do - Something happens, we were in the wrong, so we apologized for it. Oddly enough, while Republicans were up in arms about us "apologizing", they seem to have failed to notice when an United States Air Force plane hit a plane near China an had an emergency landing in China, the then Republican president apologized for the incident.

The Republican party keeps trying to make issues out of non issues in an attempt to make the Obama administration look bad. And it's not working. The Benghazi investigations have been larger and longer and cost more than the 9/11 commission and the Warren Commission. This is utterly ridiculous at this point.

Imagine if you behaved in real life the way Republicans want to in all political matters. You would have very few friends and mostly enemies.

Bob forgot to invite you to the Superbowl party? Shit on his lawn and threaten to kill him unless he apologizes.

Guy cut in front of you in line at Dunkin Donuts? Shoot him in the face because that'll show him your strength.

All they do is tell us what it would be like if they were in charge...how everyone in the world would be scared of the big bad United States of America. That should scare everyone who lives in this country. I'm so glad these nutjobs haven't been in the White House for the last eight years, because while we haven't stayed totally out of global conflict, who knows what life changing quagmire we'd be in now with one of these chest thumpers in charge. They're all little men with small dicks.

Chris Christie calls Obama a "petulant child" ????

From where I'm sitting he seems like the only real man vs those whackos.

beerptrol 01-17-2016 09:26 AM

They want conflict so their friends who own companies like Haliburton, can profit off of war and fleece the tax payers. Fact is they have made deals and/or sold arms to some of the most ruthless dictators around the world through out the years!

Vendzilla 01-17-2016 10:11 AM

John Kerry and Ash Carter told the Iranian government where the sailors were, this is High Treason to give up the location of troops. That is what Benedict Arnold was accused of.

Only a fucking low life would celebrate this.

This photograph violates international law. Article 13 of the Geneva Convention (III), governing the treatment of prisoners of war, requires Iran to protect prisoners against “insults and public curiosity.” This photograph — including a female sailor apparently forced to wear a headscarf – is a quintessential example of “public curiosity” and would be interpreted as insulting throughout the Muslim world. (And if you don’t think Iran is in a state of armed conflict against the United States, tell that to the families of hundreds of American soldiers who’ve lost their lives to Iranians and Iranian-backed terrorists.)

I don't see this as a violation of international law at all. I see this as proof that members of our armed forces were treated properly instead of being held in a prison cell.

All you want to do is make Obama look bad. A mistake was made - which had nothing to do with Obama, his administration, the White House, or even the Pentagon - and it was quickly handled by the State Department without incident. What happened here is a success story, but you want to try to make it look bad by claiming this is a violation of International law.

You're talking about a person who thinks his country is going to hell, wishes it was going backwards and could never see the good in anything. He's an angry old guy who has had a stick up his ass for 60 of his 80 years and will prove it in a few moments with a reply.

And this is what kills me.

All Republicans are walking around talking about "how bad things are" and I do no understand this. Unemployment is at 5%, the economy is finally moving, and we are moving out of the worst recession in our lifetimes.

It's stunning how quickly people forget what just happened. People were loosing their jobs and loosing their houses. This was by far the lowest point the United States has been in since the Great Depression.

Richard, you can hang on to that unemployment rate if you like being in a fluffy world where reality makes no difference, but here's the facts

U3: Official unemployment rate per the ILO definition occurs when people are without jobs and they have actively looked for work within the past four weeks.

That's within the past 4 weeks

3 million jobs were lost during the recession, during the first term under Obama, 1.3 million jobs were created, that's with a democrat controlled congress, both senate and house.
During Obama's 2nd term, so far 7.4 million have been generated since congress was taken over by the republicans.

7.4 + 1.3 =8.7 million jobs - 3 million jobs lost = 5.7 million jobs net gain under Obama. You do know that the population has grown 14 million under Obama right? Those are some very very shitty numbers!

We have recently learned that help was sent to Benghazi and were turned around before getting there.
We have also recently learned that Clinton in an email told Chelsea that it was a Al Qaeda like attack, but she and Obama told the American people that it was about a video. I know it's conjecture, but this was done during his re election campaign and it was to I believe to save face with the voters for him saying he had a handle on terrorism.

And if you think that it's just another embassy, it wasn't , an Ambassador died, We have only had 7 Ambassadors die while ion office, 2 by airplane crash, and they made a movie about this, so yeah, it's a big thing!

1. some of those prisoners have been imprisoned in Iran for up to 4 YEARs and we're all supposed to high 5 BO now for finally doing something about that? and to do it BO gave them back 7 iranians, one of which was guilty of shipping nuclear weapons equipment.

2. weird how you think the republicanss are the only ones claiming America needs work, you may want to watch a Democrat debate, oops, they're over, thanks Hillary, like the one last night where each and every democrat candidate talked about how America needs work, a lot of work.

3. a State Department official went ON THE RECORD stating that Iran may have violated the Geneva Convention publishing those photos

"A State Department spokesman on Wednesday told reporter’s that Iran may have violated conditions of the Geneva Convention when it released video footage of detained U.S. Navy sailors."

4. Bernie Sanders clearly won the debate last night. Hillary came across as a mean-spirited feminazi.

By design. The plan has been to limit the number of debates and air them at times when no one will watch them to keep the pressure off Hillary

As proven last night, that is a solid scheme for the DNC, as Sanders clearly won.

Obama's policies have been in line with if not to the right of Reagan's. If he were a white Republican who was elected the righties would be praising him as the second coming..

The only thing he's done that was much different from former Republicans was to pull troops out of active combat roles around the world and do his best to keep our soldiers out of war..
