HowlingWulf 01-20-2016 08:53 AM

What they don't tell you is that stuff will work with any carbonated beverage. Using the word 'Coke' gets more attention.

Coca Cola is the 2nd product by usability after vodka :)

Penny24Seven 01-20-2016 09:14 AM

Big thanks to Polish people for vodka :thumbsup But I'm pretty sure every or at least most of those 'hacks' would work with any alcohol (at least 40%)

gnawledge 01-20-2016 09:20 AM

For everyday consumption, I'd say it's diabetes waiting to happen. Whenever I'm sick with the flu, cold or anything I buy Coke in a can. Some reason that makes me feel better and maybe it's the caramel or something in the ingredients that do it. I've used Coke to clean the battery terminals of my cars for years. So. Yes, it's a multipurpose liquid.

Yeah, carbonated water doesn't have the wow factor.

Anyone who is over 25-30 (As I understand young people might be more ignorant etc) drinking it daily is a moron.

Magnetron 01-20-2016 10:42 AM

I used to drink about 6 cans daily.

I cut it down to a few per week and lost 20 lbs over the course of a year without doing anything else different.

And it does work great on battery terminals.

INGREDIENTS

Carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, caramel color, phosphoric acid, natural flavors, caffeine.
Yum yum! That acid will take the rust off your car or truck bumpers too.

Actually, I am pretty sure coke has stuff in it that beer doesn't thus would not assist in things like removing skunk smell.

Waste of Vodka. Even if it is a cheap make that doesn't taste great, just mix it with RedBull or Coke or summat... No need to waste it.

They making better vodka or what? Personally I don't know a single person who prefer Polish vodka over Russian ones. Not here, not over the sea.

Nope, they won't work with whiskey, rum, tequila etc, because of their specific smell and insufficient purity. Try to spray whiskey to your white shoes. They will become yellow and will smell like whiskey. Do the same with vodka and voila: no smell no marks.

Who told you that? :upsidedow Ask everybody on the planet and he'll tell you it was made invented in Russia. Also if you forgot, Poland was a part of Russia for some period of time. And one more thing, there was no standard of vodka till 1865 when Russian scientist Dmitri Mendeleev (he is also an author of the Periodic table which you were using in school to learn the chemistry) have wrote a doctoral thesis on mixing of water and alcohol, where he states that ideal concentration of pure alcohol in vodka is 38%, which was rounded to 40% and now used worldwide as a standard of vodka. This is a historical fact, actually :pimp

The Gin & Vodka Association says so ;) Also last time I checked a few toplists for best vodka's and usually there is only one coming from Russia (Russian Standard) eg Best - Top 10 Vodkas | Gayot

Who's that? I don't even know those guys :upsidedow Rocky and Bullwinkle think different, so what? :pimp

P.S. I also have no idea who is Gayot (some gay I guess) and why should I consider his ratings at all. He may think that he wants, I simply don't care :) There are many various ratings. E.g. this one. All of them are very subjective.
