The Cocal Hotel in Jaco Beach. Your wife will love it!

The four seasons was nice.

I only went one time but it was great, we stayed in Guanacaste, it had great beaches and hotels with plenty of activities to do. My wife and I did zip lining, went to the zoo, and took a dessert buggy out all around the mountains and towns for the day. You'll have a blast!

MrPotatoBread 01-21-2016 01:32 PM

I was looking at La Fortuna area and Manuel. Too boring or good spot?

VikingMan 01-21-2016 04:31 PM

Stay on the Pacific side. You are welcome.

Been to Costa Rica 4 times and never have seen the beach BUT I have been to this place twice: Costa Rica Rainforest Lodge - Rara Avis - Rainforest Ecotourism

Highly recommend it.

GFED 01-26-2016 03:15 AM

Hotel Las Caletas Lodge, enjoy the paradise, reserve today! the website is lame but this is a great place to stay with your wife (if you are in love). You can make sweet love to your wife to the sound of crashing waves then walk 20 yards to the beach and pick a coconut and drink it. Then you can kayak by gators as gorgeous macaws fly over your heads. If you are not in love then stay at one of the shithole touristy places so you have lots of distraction's
