How is it possible that the law allows people to drive if they are not too drunk, but just a little bit. I mean, screw the guy who's been drinking and dies, but he can kill our kids.

How about people who dont wear glasses, tired drivers, old people, people on perscription or meds, people with slow reflexes. On and on.

Why not ban ALL dangers then? 99% of people on the road probably shouldnt be driving.

add people who drive with bald ass tires to the list, we have had lots of rain this week and i've seen some crazy shit and the one time I got out to help and the girl was like I don't know how I did that (spun out of control taking out everything in her path) and I could see her tires were as bald as my nuts. I'm like maybe that is why.

TBH, it'd not necessarily drink driving that kills. Years ago in Spain, there was no drink drive laws, and hardly any road incidents. Many people would enjoy drinking with their meals out, as a common family scene here. The main problem is speed. It's like a mathematical equation.

Drink + anything against the law = death.

drink + speeding = death
drink + phone = death

drink & sensible driving, concentrating with no talking, just driving = get home safe.

in other words, it's the same with the other equations, speeding on phone = death. People don't think about concentration. People shouting or chatting away with children shouting in the rear, shouting or singing, you can't concentrate, put this with speed, phone, drink, drugs, anything else & there is only one answer, death :2 cents:
