TBH, it'd not necessarily drink driving that kills. Years ago in Spain, there was no drink drive laws, and hardly any road incidents. Many people would enjoy drinking with their meals out, as a common family scene here. The main problem is speed. It's like a mathematical equation.
Drink + anything against the law = death.
drink + speeding = death
drink + phone = death
drink & sensible driving, concentrating with no talking, just driving = get home safe.
in other words, it's the same with the other equations, speeding on phone = death. People don't think about concentration. People shouting or chatting away with children shouting in the rear, shouting or singing, you can't concentrate, put this with speed, phone, drink, drugs, anything else & there is only one answer, death :2 cents:
