Excited UFO hunters claim to have spotted fighter jets chasing an â??alien shipâ?? - but then deciding not to shoot.

Naturally, the seasoned alien-spotters at UFO Sightings Daily claim this is proof that Earthâ??s military know not to mess with alien craft.

The incident, at Nova Zagora in Bulgaria, was shared by local site Portal12 - and shows a series of stills captured over the villages of Gaz and Zagortci.

Well the jet is an A-10 Warthog. It's not built for air-to-air, so the chances of it shooting down anything in the air is highly improbable. Probably why it didn't shoot.

The A-10 Thunderbolt has probably the most recognizable silhouette of any jet aircraft. As stated above, it's unlikely that it would be deployed for any purpose other than taking out ground targets (like tanks or other ground artillery).

An F-16 would be a better escort for the flying saucer. :)

If there is a flying disc now a days, best believable those Americans are kicking more ass with there tech. There is enough DNA evidence to show that there is a damn good chance we have been visited.
