Pres. Obama Disrespects Bernie Sanders

Are you guys seeing this on the news today?

Obama "dismissed" any notion that Bernie Sanders campaign is like his was in 2008.

And then said Sanders campaign is a "luxury" and that Sanders is nothing more than a "shiny object".

Wow...is it any wonder that people in the U.S. are sick and fucking tired of elitist politicians?

You're just as bad as the media you love to hate. The full quotes from the interview and not just the portions you cherry picked:

When asked if he bought into the notion that the Sanders campaign was similar to his candidacy versus Clinton eight years ago.

"I don't think thats true." Then said:

"I think they're both passionate about kids having a great education, I think they want to make sure everybody has healthcare. I think that they both believe in a tax system that is fair and not tilted towards, you know, the folks at the very top. But, you know, they â?? I think Bernie came in with the luxury of being a complete longshot and just letting loose."

"I think Hillary came in with the â?? both privilege and burden of being perceived as the front-runner."

"I've gotten to know Hillary really well, and she is a good, smart, tough person who cares deeply about this country, and she has been in the public eye for a long time and in a culture in which new is always better," he said. "And, you know, you're always looking at the bright, shiny object that people don't, haven't seen before. That's a disadvantage to her."

"Bernie is somebody who â?? although I don't know as well because he wasn't, obviously, in my administration, has the virtue of saying exactly what he believes, and great authenticity, great passion, and is fearless. His attitude is, 'I got nothing to lose.'"

I wonder where you got your news that shaped your opinion? Big shocker. lol

Let's be fair, Robbie didn't read the entire story to grasp it's context using his own brain. He took what was spoon fed to him by Glen Beck or which ever dumb ass talking head read him the story on Fox and Friends.. He then ran to find a link to post on GFY to show us how horrible Obama is and of course claim he himself is a indepentant thinker while telling the rest of us we are brainwashed..

Robbie's Logic...

C H R I S 01-25-2016 11:44 AM

Fox news - GFY version

ITraffic 01-25-2016 11:50 AM

america is the only country where people willingly submit themselves to indoctrination and brainwashing. a truly amazing accomplishment. almost as big as the invention of the internet.

Barry-xlovecam 01-25-2016 01:28 PM

Typical.

Robbie 01-25-2016 03:35 PM

Guys...I'm pretty sure that I have typed countless posts about how the media in this country are in the pocket of the "establishment" in Washington D.C.

And no...of COURSE the media didn't show Obama's entire interview in which he gave backhanded "praise" to Sanders.

THEY "cherrypicked" what they reported.

Now for all you who are so blind:
I saw this this morning on Carol Costello's morning news program on: CNN

Not Fox News. I hate "Fox and Friends" so I was watching Carol's morning show.

SHE read that as the story. And then she interviewed Sander's head of his campaign and he wasn't happy about it either.
And while she interviewed him it had big letters underneath them saying:
Obama says Sanders is "shiny object"

I didn't cherry pick anything.

You guys are so fucking biased on everything, that you try to shoot the messenger and don't even have any discussion on why Obama is openly supporting Hillary over Sanders.
Well..the "messenger" was CNN and the head of Bernie Sander's campaign.

Now...you can all eat crow because you ran your dickskinners in total IGNORANCE. (as usual)

that is crafty wordsmithing. it reads the same in context.

but it certainly doesn't trump his "if i had a son he'd look like trayvon" craftiness.

Of course, everyone remain calm and return to your seats. Robbie wasn't just blindly posting BS without reading it. He was posting BS without mentioning it was BS to show us how evil the media is. Remember everyone, Robbie can never be wrong, it shows how naive everyone is to think he could possibly be wrong.

lol what?

One, You clearly didn't read the actual interview as I'm not sure how you could come to the conclusion that "Obama is openly supporting Hillary over Sanders'. Unless you don't know what openly actually means. But of course we're the biased ones.

Two, You posted something you saw on a talk show, and better yet something you saw on the bottom scroll. Yet then claim the media cherry picks and is 'in the pocket of the establishment'. So if you distrust the media, why blindly post what they report?

Three, According to CNN: Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver told CNN that the senator's relationship to the President is "really good."

"They are very different people, but I think in terms of what people are seeing in Iowa, I think the similarity in Iowa is this, which is large numbers of young people are being motivated to come out to the polls, a lot of non traditional voters are motivated to come to the polls," Weaver said. "I think in terms of messaging of our chief opponent that seems to be very similar and I think that's reinforcing it as well: pie in the sky proposals, wrong experience, can't do foreign policy. These are all ... the attacks from 2008 on Obama.

Also from CNN:While he offered a nuanced and expansive view on the Democratic primary, and seemed receptive to Clinton's appeal, Obama did not criticize Sanders and pointedly maintained his official neutrality.

Robbie 01-25-2016 05:21 PM

crockett, I'm starting to think you are either impaired or just INSANE.

I never said it was "BS". I said that I saw reported on the news this morning that Obama called Sanders a "shiny object".

Sander's own campaign manager was then interviewed and was pissed.

And you sir...look like the biased moron that you always look like.

Yes, yes in Robbie's World he can never be wrong.. You try to pass off a cherry picked news report as truth then when you get called on it, it"s.. " everyone else is biased but you".

I didn't "try" to do anything. I asked did any of you guys see this on the news this morning.

Neither you or anyone else has "called" me out on anything. There's nothing to call me out on.

And yes...not one of you even stopped to discuss the subject. Every fucking one of you sheep immediately began making excuses and trying to turn the thread subject into all about me instead of what I posted.

You look like a fucking idiot to me when you post stupid shit in response. You COULD have actually discussed this. But instead you ramble on in your fake liberal delirium.

Fuck it. If you are so blind that you can't see that the Democrat Party does NOT want Bernie Sanders as their nominee...then just carry on.
You = Puppet.

I don't think it's Pres. Obama's style to do a direct insult.

He always tiptoes around it.

Like dismissing that Sander's campaign is anything like his was in 2008.
Or saying that Sanders represents a "shiny object" to voters.

Arrogant, elitist...and definitely insulting to both Sanders and Democrat primary voters.

And just like Trump he prefaces it with saying how much he likes Sanders.

Just like Trump would do: "I love the Chinese...but they suck!" lol

Yes, Yes, Robbie's World logic once again in action. Post retarded bullshit then try to dig a hole around those who call you out for posting the said retarded bullshit. While claiming everyone else is wrong but you.

The only thing missing is for Robbie to tell everyone how much of an independent he is.

Are you really this dense? I said I posted up what I saw on the news on CNN. Carol Costello's show isn't an "opinion" show like O'Reilly or something. She reads the news and interviews people who are relevant.

I asked if any of you had seen it.

All you had to say was "no" because you are a low information kind of guy.

I had hoped to have a discussion on here...but you can see that didn't happen with crockett science and his eternal need to troll.

My opinion on what Obama said about Sanders is that it ANNOYED him that his campaign was being compared to Sanders campaign.

Pres. Obama is very cocky and arrogant in a lot of ways...actually one of his traits I admire.

And I think he considers his 2008 campaign to be a stroke of genius and doesn't think that anyone else...including Sanders should be considered to be in his league.

That is strictly opinion on my part.
