TV show Colony questions

So I just remembered I had this recorded and we watched the first two shows that have aired so far.
They sure have left a ton of stuff in the dark like WTF has taken over everything.
WTF they are doing there. I mean they have not really touched much of anything as far as all that goes.
Did I miss it when I took a piss or something. So far the show seems ok but I hope they talk about that a little more in the next show.

Nope. The Transitional Authority is in charge.. that's about all we know so far.

I doubt they'll even touch on who the overlords are this season.

I was sort of watching episode 2, I was distracted by a server problem - It wasn't clear if those people died in the chamber at the factory or not - Did I miss something?..

Long story short, Aliens took over aka Independence Day style. Killed all gov't military guys. They are more or less harvesting people sending people to the "Factory" to strip naked and disappear up the mothership (there is scene of it towards the end of episode 2). Protagonist is working for them to catch "Geronimo" who is the human rebel leader who is fighting the Aliens occupation. To complicate things, Wife of the Hero Protagonist is secretly working for the Rebels behind her husband's back.

Remember the TV Series from the 80's "V", this is pretty much the same premise. :thumbsup

yeah I got all that but they were saying online that it was not an alien take over show but everything about it makes it look like that unless that is the spin.
I mean that didn't really show them going to the mother ship. It looked like a bright light.
They shot that green light into space too but nobody said what it was.
It sure keeps you wanting to see more but they have to give a little lol.
I guess they did because now I wanna know.

I only watched the first episode, but my guess is who ever took over will be revealed eventually. It's interesting so far but it needs to perk up a bit.

Did you watch the show "LOST" I think they just made it up as they went LOL. I mean there was stuff on there that made no real sense to the story and had nothing to do with it in the end too.
I think they explained the smoke monster and the polar bear but they just added a ton of weird shit to really make you wonder what it was all about and they did a good job at it at the start.
Near the end most we LOST:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

They lived. It shows them walking out after but they appear changed..

yeah, they are definitely keeping the aliens mysterious on the show.

But the one thing that really doesn't make sense to me are the "Redhats".
Sure I can see the people who are privileged and living it up thanks to the aliens being loyal to the aliens.

But why are the Redhats all acting like assholes to other humans? They don't have big houses. They are just grunt worker soldiers working against their own kind (humans). It doesn't make any sense. Especially the way they are so passionate about their jobs and so brutal with it.
