Based on the industry I'd think there would be no conservatives on this website. Aren't conservatives the ones who try to destroy the adult industry and make it harder for us to do business? And thanks to President Obama and Democrats, the FBI hasn't been harassing webmasters like they were when Bush was in charge. I think that's definitely a good thing. So why do (what seems like a good amount) of people on this board argue for Republican policies and talk so much smack about liberals? Seems like you guys don't belong in this industry because if conservatives outside this board found out what you were doing to make a living you'd be quickly denounced and branded a pervert.

Could be that my grandchildren will still be paying off the billions in debt as a result of scandal by the provincial Libs here in Canada.

Are you inferring all conservatives are cut from the same cloth, with the same core beliefs and ideologies? If so, you're very ignorant to political and social philosophy. There are social conservatives, moderate conservatives, radical conservatives, fiscal conservatives, southern conservatives, religious conservatives, progressive conservatives, Neoconservatives, Tea Party conservatives...etc, etc, etc.

It's a fallacy promoted by the major parties that people are either conservative or liberal, the parties don't want anything to upset the "us or them" partisan paradigm that they have used very skillfully to divide much of this country into two warring camps.

The fact that the majority of people fall somewhere in between the "right" and the "left" is almost never mentioned.

Myself I agree with some ideas from both sides, I'm fiscally more conservative: lower taxes, smaller govt, less social spending etc. But I also agree with some of what used to be considered liberal ideas: take drugs, marry who you want, abort that baby that's your decision not mine. That's called leaning Libertarian and the partisans from both sides have for years been very successful at totally smearing such "dangerous, radical" ideas. :1orglaugh

But in this era of hyper-partisanship just admitting to ANY of the principals considered "conservative" gets one labelled as a "right winger" by party partisans like Clampett and our very own Canadian Democrat so I usually just read and laugh. :1orglaugh

It seems to me that in order to provide adult entertainment as a business, that you need a liberal / accepting environment. You need it from your politicians, your banks, and everyone else that you depend on to run your business, especially those in credit card compliance.

There's very few outside the US who are on low wages and living in poor social conditions, who will vote for the party that represents the people responsible for low wages and poor social conditions.
