I bought it for the kids on WII U, I'm trying to work out if I wasted my money, but reviews were really good. I haven't being playing games myself since I was a teenager, at least until I discovered Mario Kart 8, this game has awakened the child in me, worth buying the whole system for. I have no interest in other games, but I hope that one day there is another one as good as Mario Kart 8 which can captivate me.

What were your favorite games as a teenager?

haven't played that game but love my wii U. I use it for streaming Amazon prime movies mostly but I do like wii bowling while drinking a few too from time to time.

It's fun with other people, especially for younger I think.

I loved my Amiga, especially football/soccer games such as Sensible World of Soccer, Kick Off 2 and Player Manager. What about yourself?

The Wii U is a nice piece of kit, my only complaint is the small hard-drive

I'm getting good enough at Mario Kart, but I get my ass kicked on Smash Bros, which ain't fun

I can't play it to save me life, but my son can't get enough of anything Mario related at the moment.

The Wii U is incredible, it's actually got me enthusiastic, it's been over 20 years since I last had any interest in any games, only problem is I keep buying more games for this because they're so good, they're pretty pricey

Years ago we had it for Game Cube. I did not care for it but it was always a party pleaser. Mario Kart was a lot of fun and great for groups or parties as well.

It's meant to be an improvement on the Game Cube version, so I hear. Mario Kart seems to be the ultimate game, I keep expecting to get bored but it's still going strong 6 weeks in. I bought Super Smash hoping it was as good after reading reviews, so far it's not good for me, but the 10 year old loves it. If there is any other game as good as Mario Kart 8 I'll buy it right away, but I think it might be a one-off
