So they decided to make a parody of X-files?

WTF was that 3d episode? :error

dyna mo 02-02-2016 10:10 PM

You missed my thread on this. Episode 3 is easily one of the best X-files ever.

dyna mo 02-02-2016 10:16 PM

Also, that was not a parody.

There is no recovering from that, I will not be able to look at it as serious as before this stunt.

I enjoyed it - They did at least one every series if you can remember back that far - Thumbs up from me...

I was wondering about that. I personally do not remember episodes like that. In that case it is not as bad as I initially thought...

Ps: The old monster files that Mulder was browsing at the beginning of the episode - were they random, or were they from actual previous series?

Pps: Mulder referring to trannies as "normal", come on FOX TV, lol :1orglaugh It must be a smart ass joke :winkwink:

all of those monsters were all from previous episodes. this entire episode was a brilliant homage to the original series. it's always been about monsters.

this article lists gobs of easter eggs from this episode.

Curious about one thing.
Mulder and Scully followed monster into portapotty and when they saw that dude inside they did not even question that (I mean it was 100% clear that monster entered it, so obviously first thought would be transformation). Was that part of the joke?

SekobA 02-03-2016 02:43 PM

mineistaken 02-03-2016 08:29 PM
