Terms and Conditions - where do you get yours?

I did a search and none of the threads were really answered...

I know you could get a lawyer but what other options are there...

Do you guys use templates and change some things around?

Copy other similar programs and then change to your like or?

This is the internet. Don't you know that there are no copyright laws if it's on the internet it's in the "public domain" ... Steal like everyone else does!

Just ask, people are often willing to share.

I usually find mine in the library next to the section "Do it Yourself Appendectomies"

I can tell you from first hand knowledge that many sites out there simply copy and paste other site's terms and change a few words/names.

Realistically you should get a lawyer to draft them, but I think most people don't.

Anyone else have any suggestions besides getting a lawyer?

yup Craigslist or fiver sounds like what you are looking for if you are too cheap to get a lawyer :2 cents:

The ones I've done I usually gather a handful of others and then highlight what I like and scratch what doesn't apply. Then I combo all the good points and rewrite it to my specific needs along with adding anything that wasn't covered. Every site is different so you can get general ideas from others but the only way to cover your ass is to write your own specific terms that applies to your exact needs. :2 cents:

There are two options, the illegal way, "borrow them" from another site or do it the right way and hire an attorney. There is inherent risk in method one, but you will save money. Of course if you get sued and didn't cover that portion in your "borrowed" T&C's then it will cost you much more.
