I have an affilaite at Dating Factory who does this and makes a lot of money doing it... Preppers are an insane lot.

However, it makes sense to be prepared. I was in the 1989 earthquake in San Francisco and while we were far away from it, power was out for three days. No power means no refrigeration means no food. And with no power, it means you can't go out to the store either.

Think it won't happen to you? If it's not an earthquake or power outage, it will be something you never see coming.... We have a train that runs through town and they a local "propane farm" where they store propane before you buy it. A train caught on fire and shut down the entire town for three or four days - mandatory evacuation with tens of thousand of people having to leave their homes. Chances are your town or city has a propane farm too.

Keeping a 30 day supply of water, canned goods, crackers, etc, costs almost nothing and should be something everyone does.

Long term prepping is a different story.

not talking about whether prepping is legit. that is neither here nor there.

there is pretty much a step-by-step method in the article to follow.

Most Americans are in fear of something. To a slightly higher degree than Europe.

Preppers and religious apocalypse preachers are the worse and want the world to end. So they can go back to being Davy Crocket/Wyatt Earp/Mad Max Characters. Their problem will be the guys in the Armed Forces with orders to shoot any clown who thinks he's Davy Crocket/Wyatt Earp/Mad Max.

Still an easy target for a good sales pitch. Without breaking the law.

True - I was in Santa Cruz when the 89 quake hit - had been on the Bay Bridge earlier in the morning that day - and Santa Cruz was essentially cut off because both the 1 and 17 highways were in destroyed going in and out of SC. Water, charcoal, food went fast and the peace mellow surfer hippie vibe of Santa Cruz disappeared just as quickly.

fear is a natural feeling. Americans are neither more nor less predisposed to it than peoples on some other side of a dashed line on a globe.

turn on your television in any country and watch fear. just in the commercials. everything, EVERYTHING, is sold to you based on fear. fear of losing something you have or fear of not getting something you want.

Look at gun sales and the reasons people buy them. Trump is tapping into fear in his speeches. 30 days reserve of food is another sign of fear. If things are put right in 30 days, you'll need a lot more than that. Of course, I live in a country that has a decent tax rate so we have the Public Resources to cater for disasters.

Fear of losing something. Like my life and relying on a Health Service I paid into and is now free at the point of delivery?

Fear of not getting something I want. I don't even understand that.

On CZ TV, sex sells more than fear. Unless it's girls fear of a red spot showing on her white jeans. LOL

Yes, fear is natural. I'm discussing the degrees of fear.

paul go post in some other thread.

you see decline everywhere because you are in the decline of existence.

i posted it to spur ideas on another angle on how to make money online. esp for those who might have seen their online income diminish the last few years.

You should keep and assault rifle and a bag of cartridges for it instead.

Let the sheep hoard the provisions that you're just going to take.
