Virtual Reality for Adult Content?
Has anyone else played with the Samsung Oculus - Gear VR?
https://www.oculus.com/en-us/gear-vr/ I just got one and I foresee its potential for adult content. One of my developers is currently adapting our ClickCastX platform to output a 360 video by detecting the device. Youtube already does it although their version does not look that great. It works on the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy 6's. It's amazing. Your Thought? Claude Lai ClickCastX ClickcastX 4.0 - Adult Site CMS Adult Content Management Software Solution |
I like it a lot :winkwink:

Ok I checked samsung gear VR... that's cool if you're near big animals like a dinosaur or mega whale fishes, or in a circus looking up guys jumping. It follows your head quick, you are in the environment definitely. Regarding single woman of woman size, sure it feels more real than plain 2d, especially when something is moving in your direction (like, she slaps you in face lol), but I feel the 3d more with big objects or many small flying around up down etc., than a single person in front there.
Device became too hot to operate (screamed "please I need to cool down") and consumed 40% battery in 30 minutes while testing 3d demos, I suppose with videos it lasts longer. It is sure worth $100 if you already own a Samsung S6, if there will be content available. Dizzyness: I had none but I am a psychedelic guy. |

It's getting to be popular. Many nay-sayers though that will not stop at trying to discredit it all. And most of those have never tried it. A chance for margins to return to part of the industry. A chance for a whole new customer base that may not have entered otherwise. What is wrong with that. |

I have worked with 3D in adult. Started back in 2003 with 3D pics.
Fantastic quality, delivered great 3D viewer. No biz. Ppl didn't catch on that. In cinemas they made huge ads for 3D movies, big deal at start. Now? They sell 3x as many tickets for 2D standard. 5 years ago or so, TV shops were filled up with 3D TV sets, everywhere. Now no more. I was convinced finally by my son who was 6 or 7 when he first saw a 3D cartoon in cinema. He never ever wanted to watch 3D since then. Teenagers watch movies in 2D, they don't bother with 3D. Ask at Your local cinema what sells. When young ppl do not jump on that = no future. It is just the human brain which is not familiar with that effect. It denies the 3D effect as it is something our brains do not know at all. I mean the faked 3D with glasses. |

Lack of interest in 3D is a proof that it rather will never make sense from a biz POV. It is simple not a quality issue. It is just unnatural for a human brain to accept that kind modified images. |

We are not discussing if the Oculus goggles are great or not. My point is, it won't be widespread enough to make $$ in adult or elsewhere. |

First, 3D TV's failure had more to do with broadcast and satellite TV's refusal to show it. It had to do with all the investment they just made in Digital/ATSC ie HDTV and they had no competition to worry about in the US if they both decided to drop it. 3D continues to lead in Box Office Movies. If it were so failed, why they still making them? By the way, those 3D movies look fantastic on a VR HMD. Super sized screen can't be matched as a viewer. Better than a IMAX theater. The disorientation some get has some to do with directional scaling and pupil distance in the optics if they are not correct. A problem fixed or fixable on some units. The rest of any disorientation I liken to stepping on land after being on a ship for a day. There is no way anyone could try this and not say that they don't feel immersed in the action as long as the production work was at least fairly well done. Unless you are a developer, you have only had access to the low end of the market for hardware. They are going to get better. In fact, the new Galaxy S7 will be coming out in march ?? Much faster, cooler and lower battery drain. Really designed for VR use. Not to mention the Rift, Vive, StarVR, FoveVR This Year and each with something special to offer. This has hardly even started yet. |
This will happen. Why? Because it will be driven by gaming and porn. It will do better than 3D because it is more about the visuals using content that thrives on immersion vs content in which the plot is still very key.

If you get dizzy, there's something wrong with your setup. The hottest thing about VR today is that it is now really fast and responsive. In the past, when you turned your head, the computer / graphics / tracking didn't quite keep up. The Lag between turning your head and the updated image fooled your brain into thinking you were poisoned or seasick, but this problem should be solved as long as you have a fast computer and your VR equipment is working right. |

The problem with 3D up until now is that it was never really a convincing effect. Sure, some movies had parts of it that were 3D but the trade off was a blurry movie that was darker than it should be, and often lots of people complained about headaches. I have a 3D TV but never watch anything in 3D because it sucks. The new 3D, as in 3D / VR, is really a game changer. When I was a kid I was born with crossed eyes, so my brain "saw" 2 different things when I looked straight ahead. Because I didn't see in stereo, I didn't see depth. I had corrective glasses to fix it it when I was a kid and today my eyes are 99% straight, but I still rarely see the world in 3D. 3D Movies have more depth than the real world sometimes. Wearing VR goggles on the other hand, I'm knock over at how real the 3D really is, so I see big things in the world of VR porn. |
After learning more about the cost to shoot VR, I did a 180 turn on it. Once we master how to shoot the scenes. The gaming industry adopts it. Porn VR will grow.
There are more 3D movies now than before. And the 3D effect is great. Even if the script lacks a lot. |

you say it will fail because it is 3D - I say watch it before you compare it. I also don't care about 3D and I was blown away by VR the first time I experienced it |

I got mine today and at first glance its fucking amazing...but as I played with it some things jumped out at me
first it causes the phone to overheat constantly requiring letting it rest to cool down...oud think theyd have put a small fan in it or something to alleviate that problem, which pretty much everyone seems to have second the resolution just isnt that great, the phosphor dots are very evident on the screen giving it the look of an old large monitor and as you watch the video it looks more like 256x256 than 1990x1080 I use a Galaxy S6 BTW, the more motion in the video the less apparent the low quality is what was amazing to me is just how immersive a well done video is, its truly amazing and I can certainly see a future for VR that crosses many lines, way more than just porn, inspecting property or factories, virtual walkthroughs, simulators of all kinds, education I mean there are LOTS of posibilities anyone got any apps or anything that can make a quick and easy 3d photo from a single 2D photo? i realize thats kind of a tall order but it would seem that its pretty doable with some dialogue screens that maybe produce a depth map or something. I also used a web browser that samsung has for it that could be an interesting way to view certain websites....and the google earth app is pretty neat, it would be interesting if you could actually drive a virtual car with it.... Anyway if you have a g6 and a hundred bucks this is certainly worth it if only for a glimpse into the future |
Got a S5 sucks.. up for a new phone sometime this year so it will be interesting
|
Just got a Gear VR and S6. It was amazing. We at StockingVideos.com will start shooting very soon. The only problem with this stuff is the huge $$$ outlay. We are very excited about the future of VR porn.

Many of you should be inspected by a doctor. No normal man would prefer VR to a real woman. Sick shit.

I'm probably gonna get the updated headset that comes with the controller at some point soon...

It should be more interactive, not very interesting at it's current state.

Is 4,5 years enough to understand that VR will never be a mainstream product to make $$ with it? Where is VR today?

I give you one thing: VR Porn was not something that made everyone rich who tried shooting and selling 10 lousy videos. But are there VR porn sites which are profitable? Yes. And about VR in general we don't even need to discuss, currently Oculus Quest 2 is basically sold out everywhere. |

it's really big market now. around 20k VR videos shot, VR live cams, interactive sextoy scripts. much more is yet to come. high season just started with a release of Oculus Quest 2 headset. That's a magic for $399.- We can get you in VR with our EU producer. Costs you nothing. You can get SLR producer account and start making money right away. Message [email protected] |
Amusing addition to the thread:
https://twitter.com/boztank/status/1321940019720806400 #Quest2 is off to an incredible start: Pre-orders outpaced the original Quest pre-orders by more than 5x and has continued to surpass our expectations! |

You sound like somebody who invested in stock markets and now conjures reality that they will rise. And you keep saying that since 2016.
Interesting read. Exactly the point. From 2020: This Should Be V.R.’s Moment. Why Is It Still So Niche? https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/30/t...l-reality.html Check out Amazon best sellers in Video Games, no VR games in TOP100: https://www.amazon.com/best-sellers-...ding=UTF8&pg=2 My point is, You can give up on VR and go on with something that makes sense. Is a money saving suggestion. The reason remains the same. Human brain does not accept what VR delivers. It's plain neuroscience. :thumbsup |

THANKS ! :) Bookmarked this thread ! Will do, next month once its arrived :thumbsup |

Virtual reality is firmly established now, it's not going to go away like 3D TVs did, and it will continue to get better. The comment about neuroscience is pants. We're not far from lightfield 3D virtual reality, which is essentially identical to how the brain processes visual stimulation on the eye (i.e. light). Facebook driving VR forward is a big thing. Although it's a bad thing from the point of view of privacy, it does mean that at some point in the next decade or so, having a VR headset will be as essential as having a social media account. However, you're right that it's still hard to make money as an affiliate, especially if you were late to jump on board the bandwagon. I promote VR and have some of the best domain names, but I make a fraction of the money I was earning from 3D TV porn a decade ago, simply because there were about 4 or 5 other affiliates doing it back then. compared to hundreds trying to get lucky with VR porn today. |

One of great books to read is: The Brain by David Eagleman. I didn't refer to quality of the visual stimulation. Human brain needs real motion of muscles, adrenaline, heartbeat rate etc., to match the visual stimulus. If they don't match, brain rejects visual impulses. And You won't change how human brain works. Will You? |

There's something in what you say. Obviously, VR wont be truly immersive or convincing until full haptic body suits that track everything are here. As far as VR porn is concerned, I prefer the softcore or lesbian scenes without a male actor, so you can just fap away and 'almost' believe that you are there fapping away in front of the girls. Digital VR porn is the future and the only way it can be interactive (other than live VR cam porn). BTW, there are already headsets coming out that track your heartrate, facial expressions, pupil dilation etc and adjust the action in the game accordingly. https://www.tomshardware.com/news/hp...ons-heart-rate |

I was always on the fence about VR and just assumed it was a gimmick that would fade away. But I recently got one of those Quest 2's and WOW, color me a convert! The 3D VR experience is MUCH more intense that I thought it would be. And you can also use the headset to watch 2D porn. This really could be a game changer if the Quest 2 becomes a hot seller this holiday season. As someone else said, if VR doesn't finally explode because of the Quest 2 it probably never will.

"Check out Amazon best sellers in Video Games, no VR games in TOP100"
Oculus / Vive have their own proprietary digital store just like Apple and Google, you'll not see any of their games or apps on Amazon either. |
i am starting to dev for the quest2, but i'm not all that impressed with the experience. the goggles are annoying to me, and AR doesn't work in the dark. for me, a mobile or tablet is a great porn device.
just an opinion. i can see the merits and demand, which is why its on my schedule.. # |
