North Korean satellite tumbling in orbit
That must suck to spend millions and have everything work to get it in orbit except it is tumbling in orbit and can't be used for anything.
They still see this as a major big deal because they did it. I wonder how many people he will have killed because it is fucked up :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh |
Is it?
Its just I have not seen it on the news. Or is it propaganda and the ting is fine. |

Plugin russki is going to be disappointed and hangover in the morning

It is a major deal, because it shows they can get a intercontinental capable missile off the ground.
USA and Russia have consistently shown they are unable to hit stationary targets with known GPS coordinates with 100% accuracy, moving missile is a whole different game. |

EDIT: Ignore just read not all orbits are circular. |

Old (wrong) news bro - North Korean satellite 'stable' in orbit after launch
North Korean satellite 'stable' in orbit after launch, US official confirms | Fox News Right now the only countries that can do orbital launch are Russia, China, India, Japan, France, North Korea and the US. Good for them. I don't know why these weirdo muricans are laughing. An ICBM that can put a satellite into orbit is one that can cross the pacific. |

I've been able to receive it sending some kind of data on 470.010 MHz during two passes. I don't know what power the transmitter is but it's not a clearly modulated signal. This could be for one of two reasons, the most likely is it's tumbling at an interval measured in seconds or the transmitter on the satellite is faulty or both.
Apparently it should be transmitting on 470MHz so the fact it's heard on 470.010 means that the doppler effect is playing havoc on it, or more likely it's a poorly calibrated transmitter. There should only be a couple of Kilohertz of shift in normal situations. |
It's for propaganda for N. Koreans. I doubt if it scares the West Leaders. Might scare a few Americans, that was never too hard. LOL
