Moniker - where do you get your amazing invoicing software?
Wow! You guys can generate an invoice for $10 in 30 minutes? How is it so quick?
My computer is usually churning for hours before I can generate a whole invoice! No wonder with you guys renewing a domain looks like this: - log in, go to domain, choose renew today - wait 30 mins for invoice to come in, after invoice is in you can pay - after youve paid wait another bit for domain to renew Way better than for example Godaddy where it looks like this: - log in, click renew, pay, done Way to go Moniker! |

aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhh what insane person created this renewal system, pure madness
|
I went from about a thousand domains there to only about 80 today. It's a terrible setup now.
|
They were giving you a chance to reconsider; once they realized it was real, it was time for the WD-40.
|
You noticed that even though they invoice you for domain privacy on existing domains, the website doesn't seem to mention it anywhere? As far as I can see, it's no longer a product.
I've become somewhat used to Moniker's horrible interface and the ridiculously slow renewal process, but I'm still (slowly :winkwink: ) transferring my domains out. Actually most of the time I just decide to let a domain drop - same end effect. :winkwink: |
People still use Moniker? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh
I stuck around FAR too long and I've been completely done with them for awhile now. Fuck Moniker. |
Check out DomainCostClub.com saves us thousands every year on renewals, especially on our new gTLD domains.

moniker has lost over 1 million domains since the change..oh the horror. |
It's a fucking nightmare indeed.

They just charged my card without authorization.
I just can't anymore. Where do I move? :) |
Latest fun with Moniker - they charge your card 10 days before renewal, but only renew on the day your domain expires, and you "may" receive an email warning you that your domain has just expired. (I did.)
I'm kind of ashamed to admit I still have many domains with them, most of the time I'm reminded when a domain comes up for renewal, and by then it's too late... I have moved several to namesilo and have had no problems with them. |
DomainCostClub.com is amazing if you have a lot of domains, especially new gTLD's as they have the cheapest renewals of any registrar
|
Most left Moniker years ago as even back then the only way to get good support was to PM Bari which is sad who has moved on as well.
|
Namesilo +1
|
namesilo, dynadot, uniregistry even godaddy are all good.
|
Good grief. I had some domains on auto-renew with Moniker. Some of which I care about and some of which I probably should have offloaded years ago. But my card was replaced, so some expired and I just logged in to update the credit card.
And Moniker is rejecting my name and asking for my tax ID. Only, if I change my name to suit Moniker, then my tax ID won't match, and since when does a registrar need a tax ID? I guess I need to transfer everything out, but I suspect the name thing is going to be a nightmare. |
