Your thoughts on these .adult Domains?
We have a small collection of .adult nGTLD domains with some big keywords such as jobs, affiliates, blog, links, forum, etc.
I have started thinking more about them since the .adult extensions seem to be taking off. Lots of .adult websites are out there now, lots of new .adult brands, big domain sales in 6 figures such as VR.porn and VR.sex, and the nGTLDs in general with big brands utilising them more and more... Anyhow here they are, please let me know your thoughts, appraisals, perhaps offers (I am open to), ideas, scripts, affiliate links... com(.)porn - 2,621 unique visitors in the past 30 days, 15.95% click through rate. Extremely rare to have a domain in a newly released extension that has so much traffic! Jobs: jobs(.)adult, jobs(.)porn, jobs(.)sex, job(.)xxx, job(.)adult, job(.)sex, job(.)porn Affiliates: affiliates(.)porn, affiliate(.)porn, affiliates(.)adult, affiliate(.)adult Roulette: roulette(.)xxx, roulette(.)sex, roulette(.)porn, roulette(.)adult Blogs: blog(.)porn, blogs(.)porn Forums: forum(.)porn, forums(.)porn, forum(.)adult, forums(.)adult Links: link(.)porn, links(.)porn Websites: website(.)porn, websites(.)porn, site(.)porn Mobile Content: mobi(.)sex, mobi(.)porn, mobi(.)adult Holographic: holographic(.)sex, holographic(.)porn Other: music(.)porn - Explanation(!) > could be for royalty free music to use in porn editing or music emphasized porn? business(.)porn magazines(.)porn Thanks! :winkwink: |
For anyone curious about the new gTLDs, .xxx, .sex, .porn, and .adult are, and will be, the only extensions solely for the adult market.
You can find some established .adult sites at the official registry directry: xxx.xxx There are many big players in the game already, such as PussyCash whom purchased sex.xxx in a bulk deal worth $5 million. VR.porn and VR.sex both sold for $100,000 each very recently. |
the whole .name seems gimmicky but worth selling to someone else that wants a simple single keyword domain.

The more websites created and promoted, the more normal it will become, in my view.
Human beings have difficulty with new ideas, new things, different looking people (such as colour, race, disfigurement), etc. The scientific evidence shows that after people are introduced to something/someone new/different personally in a good way, their brain changes dramatically towards it, and they become more accepting. With so many new domain extensions available/in-use it will become more normal, for the average Joe. |
I think the .adult domains are a lot less gimmicky than most new gTLDs, from the outset.
The keywords help with SEO (e.g. porn, sex, xxx, adult) and also identifies yourself as an adult website, which is particularly needed in this industry, much more so than other industries. One other great advantage of having a .adult site, is that ICM Registry will help to promote it for/with you, for free, e.g. on xxx.xxx xxx.xxx receives hundreds of thousands of visitors per day! |
links.porn might get a few type ins but I don't think you will renew this list.

All the best! |
Not a huge fan of .adult I like .xxx better.
Adult can mean different things. Still though a solid short adult name is going to have some value for sure. |
