Police have released video showing several suspects who may be involved in assaulting and robbing a decorated Marine veteran at a Washington, D.C., McDonald's last week. Former Sgt. Christopher Marquez, who earned a Bronze Star with combat "V" in Iraq and helped carry then-1st Sgt. Bradley Kasal out of Fallujah??s ??Hell House,? was mugged by several people Feb. 12 in Washington's Chinatown neighborhood. Newly released surveillance footage from the McDonald's shows a black male wearing a tank top hitting Marquez in the head as he leaves the restaurant. Its very clear that white man threw himself into the way of where they were peacefully walking and then clearly jumped at their feet as they passed. They are clearly the victims in all this. Especially when you take into account how many cops have shot black me in the past over similar misunderstood circumstances. They needed to flee the area before the cops could start shooting and he was trying to block their path. |
