A police officer father in the United States has taken to social media to complain about a piece of artwork displayed at his daughterâ??s school.

Kentucky cop Dave Hamblin is outraged by the painting which depicts two black people with a gun pointed at their head.

On one half of the painting, under the title â??1930″, a Ku Klux Klan member is pointing the gun.

On the other half, titled â??2015″, a white police officer is shown pointing the gun at what looks like a African American child.

The painting was from a school project inspired by racial violence depicted in Harper Leeâ??s book, To Kill A Mockingbird.

Police officer Dave Hamblin, who goes by the name Dave Kingmen on Facebook, says the picture is upsetting and creates â??future cop hatersâ?�.

â??We speak of tolerance, we speak of changing hostile environments, we speak of prejudice, and we speak of racial relations, yet, when it comes to hostility toward police, their families, and profiling them through bigotry we are expected to tolerate it,â?� â??Kingmenâ?� wrote.. â??I will not, nor will my child.â?�

The cop has asked for the picture to be removed but the school has seemingly turned down his request.

â??When discussing social injustice, people will likely be offended by some topic,â?� said Tracy Green, a school spokesperson.

â??The drawing is a studentâ??s artistic representation based on the lens through which the student viewed that issue and the student has a First Amendment right to share that opinion.â?�

That would infer that out of all the crimes committed by whites, 2% of them were killing blacks... that's false.

The image is just complete and total nonsense with absolutely no meaning or application to any real life stat. It's just completely bogus. And 81 and 97 is well over 100 last I checked.

Actually that pic was used by Donald Trump in one of his racist tweets, and was later debunked as being totally untrue. Anyway, the math doesn't add up.

you can't escape the obvious fact that there is a wholesale genocide with respect to black on black crime and blacks don't seem to think that in this case, that black lives matter. The next time a cop shoots a Michael Brown blacks will murder 100 blacks in the US in the time it takes to read the headline and there won't be any protests or supposed "outrage" about that fact.

FACT 1. Over 1,400 more black Americans murdered other blacks in two years than were lynched from 1882 to 1968.

According to FBI data, 4,906 black people murdered other blacks in 2010 and 2011. That is 1,460 more black Americans killed by other blacks in two years than were lynched from 1882 to 1968, according to the Tuskegee Institute.

FACT 2. Black People (mostly men) commit a grossly disproportionate amount of crime.

In 2012, white males were 38 percent of the population and committed 4,582 murders. That same year, black males were just 6.6 percent of the population but committed a staggering 5,531 murders.

In other words: black peopleâ??at just a fifth of the sizeâ??committed almost 1,000 more murders than their white counterparts.

FACT 5. It would take cops 40 years to kill as many black men as have died at the hands of others black men in 2012 alone.

University of Toledo criminologist Dr. Richard R. Johnson examined the latest crime data from the FBIâ??s Supplementary Homicide Reports and Centers for Disease Control and found that an average of 4,472 black men were killed by other black men annually between Jan. 1, 2009, and Dec. 31, 2012.

Professor Johnsonâ??s research further concluded that 112 black men died from both justified and unjustified police-involved killings annually during this same period.

If the numbers don't fit you must acquit. No, wait, it says black people are convicted for 81% of all murders with white victims AND black people are convicted for 97% of all murders with black victims.

You can't check for factual accuracy because the crime statistics bureau doesn't exist. FBI has crime stats but the 2015 entry is incomplete. If I look at 2014, I can see ethnicity of murder victims and ethnicity of murder offenders but I don't see a way to connect the two.
