Do you play any games yourself?

The racing component of the game sucks. It took all the evilness out of the game. The battle mode however is great. It's a shame that it's limited to only 8 tracks.

can you race with others around the world?

I'm a noob to the game and to Nintendo, so I can't compare against the old versions, the racing (online) is all I do. You can download more tracks for about 10 or 15 bucks :2 cents:

My kids and I play all the time. Reigning house champion, but I've been Mario Karting for 20 years now, so that should be expected.

Mario Kart 64 is still the best. :2 cents:

is it for the WII U?

They've got a least 1 level from it in Mario Kart 8, also the 64 version is available cheap in the WII U download store

Not like my kids do. They know all the short cuts, but the suck at the actual driving most of the time.

The older Mario Karts do seem to be a lot more about fucking your opponent. No biggie though, 8 is still a lot of fun.

I don't know anyone who owns one of them. Infact you don't even see the games for it in the shops. Only PS4 and X-Box...

Yes, not as common as PS and XBox, in lots of shops they don't sell Wii U games like you say. Picked mine up in Argos, buy most games online. Getting it was one of the best decisions ever (not so much for me, enjoying MK is just a bonus)

You sound like a pro, do you normally win online? Which nationality do you think are best?

Did it improve the game?

Yeah. Most games there isn't any lag or slowdown and a few that used to have horrible pop-in doesn't have that problem anymore. It's not super amazing, but nice on games that usually run slow. :upsidedow.

(Just unsolder pins 112 and 116 (Or whatever dev0 and dev1 are in case different models are different) from the middle main chip and connect a wire from each of them to any 3.3v connection on the board. Then cut the wires and add a switch on each one where the off position will connect to any ground on the board. Then you have switches to turn the clock speed from 1x, 1.5x, 2x and 3x. ;) )

The best MK ever imo, apart from the horrible battle mode..

Get the DLC tracks if you don't have them, so many great tracks for a nice price :)
