Nailed libtard "logic":

Both sides of the political spectrum are batshit insane. Extreme libtards and extreme right wing nutjobs. I'm a 'Moderate' - a word almost forgotten in American society these days. But guess WHAT???
Most Americans are in the middle and (somehow) happen to have BOTH "liberal" and "conservative" ideas and values depending on the situation and context AT THE SAME TIME. Socially conservative but financially liberal or vice-versa. Shocking I know, isn't it? Why do you think Prez candidates 'dumb down' their wildest extremist speech? So the 80% of us who are moderately sane will vote for them. BEST ADVICE: Ignore the screeching on either extreme end of the political spectrum. |

And quite frankly that's what has allowed liars and scumbags to RULE our country for the last hundred years or so. I don't think it has anything to do with "moderates" (which would be a person with no real backbone or passion for anything). I don't think you are really a "moderate". I'll bet you dollars to donuts that you feel VERY strongly about several issues. And since those are your beliefs (whatever they may be)...those are the ones that seem reasonable to YOU. And anyone outside of what seems reasonable to you is "extreme" I'm the same way. We all are. And then politicians come along in the general election and smile and nod and lie like hell trying to somehow get the maximum number of people conned into voting for them. And then when the smoke clears...they "Obama" you and do the exact opposite of what they promised. :( |
There is just so much I don't understand in this thread, it makes my brain hurt.

The media has divided everyone so precisely, and strategically, it's not a surprise that the only time you hear the term "Moderate" is when you hear politicians describing themselves. If a bill is passed with bipartisan approval, you never read about it. You only read about it when it's a mess between left and right. That's the wedge they're driving deep into the psyche of Americans, and the world. It's not only politics. It's race, religion, sexual orientation, climate change, etc, etc. You're either for or against...there is no middle ground.
If a black man kills another black man, it's not on mainstream news. If a white man, especially a white cop kills a black man, it's all you hear for a week. Black cop kills white man, nothing. News reporting is so disproportionate with reality, it's almost sickening. With religion (Christianity) you're either a complete Bible thumping Jesus freak or Atheist. They don't use the term Agnostic anymore. Nothing about someone who somewhat has faith and prays, but doesn't attend church or share most of their values. I can go on and on and on. The rich controls the media, which is used to sway public opinion in order to get them to like or dislike what they profit from the most. The media can sway election results for or against what the rich want. It's a rigged system. |

I think you are both right. Other than church you could argue this shit all day and not be one step closer to anything

But I'm not really "Mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it anymore". But yeah...my political posts do sound like that. :1orglaugh I think the country as a whole is in that kind of mood. Not really angry...but just sick and tired of bullshit. |

You also rarely see right nutjob twisting, inventing facts as much as libby nutjobs do. I mean there are 3-5 hardcore libtards on this forum and every one of them is constantly being exposed for making up things, denying facts that do not suit their agenda and so on. You do not see anything of that level when right nutjobs post. A phenomena. |
