this is the best they could come up with?... i am not a trump fan but who cares that over 100 years ago the name was changed. i don't see how it has any relevance on trump or his campaign.

The entire video was hilarious..... Donald Trump determines his net worth "depending on his mood". He said that during a court case?

Everything Trump ever says is pure bullshit. In that video they have Trump saying "I've never settled out of court because they will only come after me more". But yet Trump has settled out of court dozens if not hundreds of times.

Barry-xlovecam 03-02-2016 07:54 AM

You are missing the real point -- he is mocking the name's branding -- personification of the object that is allegedly not his real family name.

The Donald has no personal interest in the Trump name -- it was made up.

Dumbed down: What the fuck is he so proud of? Trump is not even his real family name. ergo: Donald Trump is being less that truthful ...

But he will get a chance to testify under oath, in The People of the State of New York v. Trump University, Donald Trump, et. al ... on fraud complaint that has been remanded back to the lower court for trial by the NY Appellate Court, yesterday March 1, 2016

I'm not sure why his accent has anything to do with it...

It has done a lot of damage - It was at 40 million views on FB in less than 24 hours - How many where fence sitters and didn't like what they heard?....

how many millions of americans don't have their 'real' last names? hundreds of thousands were changed when they migrated from europe to america. trump was born with the trump name. its not like he changed it. like i said i find very little to like about trump but bagging on his name is just dumbing down the hate for the masses.

My Grandfather changed the family name when he arrived as an immigrant from Russia at Ellis Island in 1910 -- this was very common ... I would not try to brand my last name -- it was legally 'assumed' -- It would be meaningless to me -- I guess I am not an egomaniac :2 cents:

Nothing wrong with name recognition in politics but most politicians do not refer to themselves in the third person; The Trump would ...

None of this may be moot because the Trump may crash and burn on this Trump University fraud trial. This remains to be seen. He is a Defendant in the lawsuit and can always refuse to testify or invoke the 5th Amendment right against self-incrimination. Political suicide.

Agree. It's scary that a man with a loud mouth, thin skin, no patience, no negotiating skills other than do it my way or, a liar. Could ever be in charge of a nuclear arsenal.

Well, I don't know what that has to do with my not finding the bit funny but i would be hard pressed to vote for Trump when Sanders doesn't get the nom most likely. If I were assured my vote for Trump would ensure Hillary does not become Potus, I would give it serious consideration. As it stands now I am glad Trump is dominating the GOP race because that means Ted Cruz is not and it also contributes greatly to the unraveling of the GOP and obstructionist politics in general.

The problem started when he had a go at someone else for changing their name. If he hadn't done that, there would be no problem.

I can see why so many Americans like him. It's because there are so many Americans like him. Loud, overbearing, overconfident, bragging for no reason, etc. He doesn't say it like it is, he says it like people want to hear.

I suspect when he's the Republican candidate he will get picked apart in interviews and debates.

that's not at all right. those are your own negative generalized views of Americans and you are projecting those onto Trump. Every single reason you listed for liking Trump is a negative one having to do with American people in general and nothing to do with Politics, the current state of affairs with our government, both of which weigh heavily into why Trump (and Sanders) have the level of support they do.

crockett 03-02-2016 10:36 AM

Notice all the Donald Drumpf supports are avoiding this topic like the plague..

It's kinda scary that the same morons supporting Drumpf are the same dumb asses who ignored all the evidence aginst going into Iraq and just believed what Bush & Co said.

I've said it before, he appeals to the lowest common denominator and they tend to like sparkly things and don't have much foresight.

Idiot. You don't see the difference between someone changing their last name and having your grandfather change the family name?

GOP frontrunner Donald Trump is contending with multiple civil lawsuits alleging fraud at his now defunct Trump University. Now, Trump will have to handle another case against his virtual ??university? ?? this time, from the New York Attorney General??s office, the New York Daily News reported.

Four judges for the New York Appellate Division unanimously ruled on Tuesday that the office is authorized to pursue the fraud case. The New York Attorney General??s office first filed the lawsuit in 2013.

The ??university,? which allowed students to purchase expensive CDs and DVDs, was not actually accredited. The lawsuit charges that Trump University ??repeatedly deceived students into thinking that they were attending a legally chartered ??university'? and misled students into believing the so-called experts on investing in real estate would be hand-picked by Trump, according to the New York Daily News.

The New York Department of Education sent Trump University a letter in 2010 demanding that it stop calling itself a university. The name was later changed to Trump Entrepreneur Initiative.

In an interview with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday, Wallace asked Trump about the claim that one of the real estate experts was a manager at a Buffalo Wild Wings, and Trump responded by saying that ??many? of the experts were handpicked by him. Trump has also repeatedly told news outlets that Trump University had an A rating from the Better Business Bureau. According to Politifact, that claim is inaccurate, and the company??s BBB rating ??fluctuated between an A+ and a D-.? But the last time, the BBB gave the university a rating, in 2010, it gave a D-.

Not quite - Donald Trump has voluntarily dismissed his $5 million lawsuit against Bill Maher for failing to live up to an "unconditional offer" made on NBC's Tonight Show to donate $5 million to charity if Trump provided a copy of his birth certificate proving that he??s not ??spawn of his mother having sex with orangutan.

It appears not so in the USA.

Brits have no problem electing Eton toffs.
French like adulterers.
Italian's prefer sex addicts.
Czech has an alcoholic.
America has Trump. On his plus side, he's not black and not likely to get a BJ in the Oval office. On the downside, he will have to tone it down when dealing with World Leaders.

No one is perfect.
