So they looked at Google "Trends" and see a graph that has no numbers. lol

So the day before...if ONE person looked up that exact search phrase and then on Super Tuesday 3.5 people looked it up...it would "surge" to 350%

Nice move by the media. They are giving it everything they can aren't they?

Rochard 03-02-2016 08:40 PM

No way in the world I would move to Canada. Very nice people, etc, but... I will never live someplace where it snows.

You know, it only takes a few seconds to learn stuff.

Here is how you can see the trend yourself, and your numbers.

Google Trends

Here's another view of it : Google searches for 'How to move to Canada' spike after Trump win

Next, why are you getting so upset? It's obviously a crazy statistic. Just enjoy the chuckle already, sheese. Donald Trump is becoming the most hated man in the world and its no wonder that some people, even jokingly, consider leaving the US if he wins. How many people said they would leave after Obama won in 2008? And again in 2012? Some. How many actually left? none. So relax already.

I hear yeah. It's freaking cold here right now. Summer starts around July 1st and ends before it starts. I used to want to move to Florida so I could enjoy Green trees all year round. sigh.

That's okay - you weren't invited.

A lot of the stats are the result of this story itself - It was all over the BBC etc...

Oh, so you're saying that the media KNEW those numbers were infinitesimal?
All they showed was a graph. And they COULD have said...yeah, tiny amount of people.

But "350%" sounded so much better.

Wake up Mark.

I've only had good times every time I've visited Canada

3 times.

But as I understand it, it's somewhat difficult to repatriot there, or whatever the phrase is. I think I'd go tropical, South America

I'm also surprised gun sales haven't spiked in coordination with this search.

same shit happened 8 years ago and no-one moved. 80% couldn't find state of Canada on US map, the other 20% couldn't convince their parents to move trailer park house off the original place where they placed it to hide from the Indians.

Did you read the article? The site actually went down due to too much traffic. There are pictures where the site admins put warning about heavy traffic slowing it down.

No due, I'm saying RELAX a little bit before you have a heart attack. A DJ in Canada started the website as a joke and the idea took off. The link I sent to you was a Canadian website. Are you now afraid of the "media" in Canada too? Jeezuz dude... you worry too much about things.

If you're not a skier, don't come to Canada in Winter - you'll hate it. The best time to visit Canada is always in the summer. Montreal especially is perfect. If you like the mountains but hate cold (like me), check out BC.

I just can't wait to leave and pay 30% less taxes, and never see (and shovel) a bit of that white shit again... :1orglaugh
