Donald Trump tells Chris Christie : "Go home"

Ouch..

I hate Chris Christie but I feel bad for the guy.

It was a friendly... go get some rest, go home comment.

However... I don't like Chris Christie and here is why:

He appointed a district attorney in Somerset County, NJ... Soriano.
Chris Christie had a high profile attorney, Mark Sheridan, working for him with his political shit.
Mark Sheridan's parents were brutally murdered and Soriano made sure that the investigation came out as a murder/suicide. All evidence suggests it was clearly not murder/suicide.
Mark's father, murdered, was a big time attorney and also involved in politics heavily.

My question is:
Knowing the corruption in NJ goes so, so deep, how could Christie not stop such an atrocity investigation of someone so close, and put the family through so much?

He appointed the guy... his lead attorney was the guy's son. The biggest kicker in this story... the knife that the prosecutors claimed was used in the suicide... was never recovered from the scene.

Yep I don't like Christie either. He kissed Obama ass after the big hurricane, and then trashed him later while running for president. And then there's bridge-gate and other scandals going around him. And a hot-head, and a bully, etc. Too many red flags.

Chris Christie is swinging from Trump's nutsack because NJ hates him, and he's desperate for that VP slot on the ticket.

Dean S. 03-03-2016 08:27 AM

Embarrassing? Looks like a friendly "go get some rest" comment from Trump.

I don't like both guys though.

holy shit

Yeah... it's a big holy shit wtf. When the story first came out I was shocked, I thought it was incompetent prosecutors and likely committed by someone who went to a place called carrier clinic. Mr. Sheridan held a high position in carrier clinic in the 90's which was a place for troubled teens. Some of those teens went on to do some hard prison time and thought that was the connection.

The silence of Chris Christie and him in no way saving the family years of grief is very telling. Chris Christie running for President only a year after raises questions around this issue. Mark Sheridan quitting Chris Christie's campaign just before he is about to run for president and after his parents were murdered?

All of it is a big wtf... but I like Trump and his position that he has never run for any political office. It is a breath of fresh air knowing how corrupt politics are in general. I just hope the Christie endorsement is just an endorsement and not anything more. I know Christie wants to be vice president and sure hope that doesn't happen.

I would rather have that short oil guy from Texas as Vice President... forgot his name. He ran in the 90's as an independent party.

Hmmm... replies dissapearing.

Gfy database crash and restore.

We had hope for Christ Christie, but he lost his way about the time that bridge thing started up. It was all down hill from there.

One of the problems with politics is that they campaign while in office. For example, last election, Obama was campaigning while still in office. This is a distraction from his job. Nearly all of these people - Bernie, Cruz, Rubio, etc - have government jobs and need to be doing their government jobs, not touring the country campaigning. It's the exact same thing with Christie - His job is in NJ, not touring the country campaigning.

The people in NJ are pretty much done with him.

It is. Imagine your friends getting killed and politics push it under the carpet. It was picked up by nj newspapers but never made mainstream news or any questions in any debates. God I hate politics...

crockett 03-03-2016 09:59 PM

Seems more like Trump being nice to him for a change than anything else.
