At the border checkpoint to Finland (close to St Petersburg), there is a big sign in Russian to tell Russians that lying to the border guards is a crime.

Russians especially lie to themselves about their own self worth.

Russian "i drive an 87 Honda. Best year for honda. The best car to buy. Great on gas. Strong like ox. Id tell you price but then you feel ripped off about your car"

bronco67 03-08-2016 09:06 AM

Russians are born with the "shady" molecule prolifically infused in their DNA. It's intrinsic to their nature to cheat, so I don't hold it against them.

Under Communism there was no "God" (Christianity, Judaism or Islam) therefore Russians do not have the same moral foundation that most civilizations have. Same is true for China. So Russian "morality" is quite unique. LOL

I have no idea what Meldonium is but Mildronate (shown on the picture above) is a legal drug widespread in Russia which is prescribed as an anti-ischemic cure - everybody here can buy it without a recipe. I have no idea why it's considered as a doping now (if that's not a joke of course). Seems next time they will ban aspirin.

What a load of crap!! She has been taking something which is not banned, and then, less than a month after a ban goes into place, she finds out that it's still in her system, and comes forward to let people know.... And now she's a cheater and a terrible person?

What a complete load of bollocks. Either it is banned or it isn't. For the last 10 years, when it wasn't banned, then she was allowed to take it, and that's that. The fact that she still had it in her system less than a month after this ban goes into place should be no big deal as long as she has stopped taking it now. All this crap about her being a cheater, etc... is completely ridiculous. Give me a break!

If they suddenly decide to ban Gatoraide, (after all, it gives an unfair advantage by providing electrolytes), and someone still has extra electrolytes in their system the day after the ban, does that make them a "cheater"?

The whole thing is bullshit IMHO....

The OP said she's a cheater because... she's Russian, so let it be :thumbsup

And what moral foundation the rest of civilizations have? oh, that's right: profiteering and greed, screw anything and everyone else.

Religious morals - that's another topic altogether sadly worth LOL'ing about as been shown throughout history that those morals were and are being used for personal or collective interests and gains. Conquering and wars, burning witches, sexual abuse, getting rid of unbelievers, and all is fine if you pray and ask for forgiveness for your sins, rinse and repeat. Such high moral principles :upsidedow

woj 03-09-2016 12:12 PM

seems like you would have to be pretty damn incompetent to fuck up like this... you take a drug that is known to enhance performance, that has been placed on a "watch list" in early 2015.... in sept 2015 it was announced that it will be banned in jan 2016...

so everyone had almost a 1 year warning, and yet bunch of world class athletes (mostly from Russia and other ex-USSR countries) end up getting caught and will have their careers ruined over it... :error :1orglaugh

Not quite. she and her team were told way back in september that the drug was going to be on the banned list for the new year.
She claimed that neither she nor her team actually realised that what she was taking was now banned, not cheating but incompetence.

30SalesPlus 03-09-2016 12:23 PM

Actually Mildronate does not make you stronger. This drug seriously accelerates recuperation after exhaustion and prevents infarction and strokes. I have no idea why it is now forbidden for sportsmen. Now they have to forbid food as well, because it's also being used for recuperation.

yea, it doesn't improve performance, all these athletes were obviously taking it for legitimate medical reasons: their heart conditions... :error
