Hmmm. This Splash | Eva Lovia is not working properly. Tried it in chrome and firefox.

The Dear Visitor overlay stays up. I assume that it should go away by itself or on first click.

Through the opaque I can see some of the buttons of what seems to be a tour but I can't get to anything.

Clicked all over the place and nada fucking thing happens.

And. If you try to go to the affiliate link after having the splash page from the site open, then you get the splash page instead of the affiliate page.

But if I shut down the browser and come back in you can then get to the affiliate program.

It is a cookie issue.

It is kind of hidden there. Should probably be in white instead of black.

Hey Natalie, I've also been updating my site with 16 image FHGs for referrers to use aswell as surfers to browse. Will Eva be offering the similar....


I was hoping MC could sort out a better way for me to be able to give affiliates images & galleries, alas, my way works well & referrers can link to each gallery, as they would the tour & splash page :thumbsup

@GspotProductions Eva has a lot of content and upadates are scheduled out. We will be adding more features and options to the affiliate program functionality shortly, so stay tuned :)

I love the Model Centro girls, but I wish they were better at providing promo materials to affiliates. I just added Eva Lovia, but, alas, I have nothing to promote her with except a link. :sadcrying

@Ruff, the link is in the footer as always.
I'll message you about the promo items for some of the models - those who sent me links to their promo content, that is. Sometimes you'll get an email from the model when you sign up to their program with a link to all their promo tools (with those who are responsible about it). Shortly, we'll have the option for the models to add them via the admin as well, so that email step will be spared.

Hey ruff, thanks for signing up! There's a link at the bottom of all the MC sites to the affiliate sign up. Although, we've also linked from the affiliate page to our referrers blog, making it easy for you to locate FHGs & images to link to preview splash pages :thumbsup

yep, a big fuck you to everyone who was promoting her other site.. not to mention asking people to cancel their active memberships and re-signup too.

@Spunky99, unfortunately, there wasn't a way for us to transfer affiliate sales data to try and keep the continuity on it. If there was, we would have done it.
As you can see, the old site is no longer up, so instead of causing a bunch of chargebacks, we imported the old user base and gave them access until their payment expires, which is something we could do. That being said, the old site was not as successful as Eva had expected it to be, so there aren't too many people negatively affected. With no progress for a long time, it is hard to blame her for seeking other partnerships.


@sarettah - we updated the design of the splash to make sure the X is more visible, thanks for pointing it out again.

well, no the old members would continue to rebill with the ccbill account as before, because those members have access to the site. so the only reason to be saying hey cancel and restart is so that she gets full credit for those sales. there wouldn't be any charge backs.

but whatever, she's added to the list of never promote again

why not just promote her new site? I understand you'd lose on some of the older sales with rebills, but I'm sure to make more money with the new site would be of interest to any one wanting to make money in business. Somethings are just unable to deal with.

I've had the similar problem & informed my referrers immediately when my server was closed & my new site with MC was on air.

Not sure what you mean, models goto different programs all the time, can't be suggesting they stick with a program theyre unhappy with because members now have to signup to a new site and cancel their other or affiliates have a new site to promote?

This has been the norm since the beginning of time, you wont find a member who is unhappy about signing up to her new site, they enjoy supporting her decisions that make the model happier.

And affiliates should be happy they have a new site for her that will continue to be updated for a long time ;) they get a cut of all the models signing up again as well.

Signup with a studio account, just register them, upload their ID, etc and split is 80/20. You can work out the split with the model however you see fit.

Considering it gets you a fully managed affiliate program as well as it being free, its a no lose situation. Full control of the domain and everything

To add to my previous post:

Think we need to remember these are model managed websites, they have full control to do whatever they please. A model has no commitment to an affiliate program, an affiliate program doesnt own a model or have the rights to keep her content if they couldn't come through for her. If a model is unhappy with a program who failed her in any way, its not expected she leave them her website/domain. Her directing her old domain to her new one is common practice. There are no rules when it comes to affiliate promotion or what models have to do for their affiliates, its a partnership where it makes sense for both sides to help each other. if you make less with her due to this, then it makes sense to not promote her as much but i assure you, an affiliate wont feel a negative effect of this given the balance of new sales and her being able to continue. If anything, it will spike sales. New sales far outweigh rebills considering majority of rebills stay rebilling due to inactivity.
