I have always liked Disturbed, but this cover song brings them to a new level for me
 

Buddy on my hockey team turned me on to it. Poetry of the lyrics still resonate just as powerfully today.

I think it would benefit from some crunchier guitars at the end to counterbalance the lusciousness of the strings but the vocal is solid and emotional. :thumbsup

I agree that the vocal is spot on, it reminds me of something Lee Ving of Fear did on the TV show fame back in the 90's, maybe even the 80's



I would like to hear a different version with an edgy guitar rift as well, but I have to admit the acoustic guitar at the end sounds very good!

My oldest is very into Disturbed, and he had me listen to this a few months ago. That is an epic song overall, and the cover is as good as the original, imho.

From when people actually sung their music without the benefit of autotune etc.
