The Walking Dead - Epic

Do NOT fuck with Carol or Maggie!
Tonight's episode fucking rocked!!

Alicia Witt - still fuckable after all these years? YES!

"We are all Negan". What does this mean??
I am guessing "NEGAN" is an acronym and stands for something.
That, or it's a Spartacus kinda thing.

3 episodes left for this season. Shit is building...but to what?

Alicia Witt was all cleaned up and looking nice on the talking Dead couch -- and damn she's dorky. Made her even more fuckable.

I wish I could watch it. I'm literally too scared.

Haha!! I know what you mean! Each episode makes me so...anxious! LOL But then I think of it as a video game and it's fun again. :)

I'll never forget the van episode where the horse got taken over and he was under the van - I accidentally looked and even get chills nowwww remembering! I was so scared.

Ugh.

crockett 03-13-2016 10:33 PM

This new season is the best in sometime. My guess is the other group they were killing for is not what they seem and Negan has something to do with them as well as more that we haven't seen yet. My bet is it's the entire network of groups they trade with and perhaps this smaller group they just killed off were rogue or perhaps trying to break away.

It's not gonna be as straight forward as it seems right now.. but then again I always expect a plot twist.

Robbie 03-13-2016 11:02 PM

As I understand it...in the last episode of the season we will meet the leader of that group. And his character is played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
And that last episode will be the one that leaves us hanging until the next season.

I don't read the comic, but a friend of mine does and says this guy, Neegan that Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be playing plays a pretty major role in the story. It will be interesting to see how it goes.

Negan is a really bad dude in the graphic novels. He's the leader of another group of survivors, and is pretty damn ruthless. I haven't watched at all this season, but they were hinting that Negan was going to be in this season. As stated by others, he's being played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

The reason why a lot of people didn't think Glenn was really dead last season is because in the graphic novel, Negan is the one who kills Glenn, not walkers. I can't wait to binge watch this entire season. I'll have to wait for it to end though, which sucks. I can't do the weekly episode grind.

Glad to hear this season is shaping up, though! :thumbsup

Paul Markham 03-14-2016 04:24 AM

Looking forward to seeing it tonight.

Caldo 03-14-2016 06:22 AM

Hope it will be exciting :thumbsup

bronco67 03-14-2016 06:42 AM

Carol and Maggie get into some dark shit in this episode.

PornoStar69 03-14-2016 08:13 AM

That redhead chick - I was looking at her and thinking 'I've seen you before somewhere'

BINGO

When Chrissy said in The Sopranos

Fucking D-girl

LizardKing 03-14-2016 08:48 AM

I quit the show in middle of season5 because it was just bad. Always the same shit running from one camp to another. And the people they meet are always a bit crazier than before.

Does it really get better later? Where "better" != "more crazy/brutal/"

XMaster 03-14-2016 09:02 AM

Can't wait to see it tonight.

The Porn Nerd 03-14-2016 09:10 AM

Maggie is extremely fuckable.
Just sayin'. :)

djroof 03-14-2016 12:10 PM

also waiting to watch it tonight here in Greece from FOX...

When she was first introduced on the show, I thought she looked homely and not very attractive. But now she's fucking HOT! :thumbsup

Magnetron 03-14-2016 12:59 PM

Never made it beyond episode one.

Zombies taking headshots just doesn't seem binge worthy to me.

Rochard 03-14-2016 04:00 PM

I just watched it... that rocked.

Sid70 03-14-2016 04:12 PM

Shameless is the only show.

Actually the show makes me anxious and nervous lately. I don't like the people vs. people stuff. I like the killing of gross/funny zombies. LOL

But this episode was also extremely taught and well-acted. I knew it would end in violence but I thought the dynamics between the actors and the female-heavy focus was really well done.

I didn't read the graphic novels either but I do play POV zombie video games. :)

H-Tom 03-14-2016 06:13 PM

People still watching this boring and overrated show?

bronco67 03-14-2016 08:18 PM

This show is disturbing more than anything else on TV. It's not the blood and guts of the zombie killing.

It's the things that happen between the living survivors. The tone they choose in the directing and editing can be really dark and sometimes makes me feel a little uneasy when I start thinking about myself in the same situation.

Imagine throwing that lit cigarette in the gasoline. I would definitely do it without hesitation -- but not without a sick feeling that would keep me awake every night thinking about those guys burning alive. I can't think of any other TV show that goes to those places and shows real human brutality that comes from a desperation to live another day. Or maybe some people just look at it like any other violent TV show without putting it into that context.

It may not be a perfect show, but it sure as fuck delivers that "icky" feeling occasionally.

Fantastic post! You make the perfect points. I came to the show extremely late. I saw so many people freaking out about this guy Glen's supposed death on this zombie show...so I checked it out and got hooked (then watched most of the first couple seasons, still getting through Season 3 now). But that's what got me, what you said. I kept asking myself, "Why is this show so...disturbing? Why am I thinking about it days after? It's just a zombie show, like a video game..."

And then I saw 'Talking Dead' and thought, "Oh shit, I'm one of them now!" LOL

nope do not have ADD, my focus is fine. Getting 'scared' from a movie is just so unbelievable to me, i cannot understand it. And i am not talking about cheap shock effects, like when its quiet for several minutes and then all of a sudden a loud noise with something appearing fast in close up. That's not scary, it's simple shock like when someone would sneak up and starts pounding a spoon on a pan.

so which movies have scared you?

For me a perfect example is this episode - it was slow but...

You watch too many movies. A lit cigarette won't ignite gasoline. It will fizzle out, and you'll end up getting killed by a bunch of gasoline soaked crazies. :1orglaugh

Paul Markham 03-15-2016 03:43 AM

the series is getting back to what it does best. Gore and carnage. Less of the amateur dramatics please.

I know what you mean. But each time I find myself thinking: aren't they supposed to be used to it by now? Maybe because they grew up in a different environment. But for the future generation, the kids, this is reality now. How is life any different from 1000s of years ago when tribes ran into each other and went to war all the time? Vikings, Mongols, Romans, etc. I just see the zombies as a new "species". Good show. :)

But that's how life was back then.

We don't have to cut off a barista's head because she made the latte without enough foam. I think you could convince yourself that taking lives is no big deal after the 20th kill, but it would still eat away at most normal people who weren't already a psychopath/sociopath.

I grasped the point clear as day, and agreed with it. Morality dies with humanity, guilt over taking another life but being forced to for self survival. Discerning right from wrong, etc, etc, etc. But the dramatic flicking of a cigarette into gasoline was a bit heavy. :)

It's called being emotionally A-ssociated or emotionally DIS-associated. Obviously when you watch movies you are a bit 'distant' and not emotionally connected to the story. That's cool, but some people go the opposite extreme and get TOO into shit. LOL

(The Exorcist scared the FUCK out of me.)

A mix of basic physics, trying to light bonfires with gas and cigarettes, and Mythbusters. :thumbsup

No need for gasoline soaked bikers to know this simple fact. Shooting a gas tank won't cause an explosion either. Only in the movies.

I knew shooting a gas tank wouldn't make a car explode but I didn't know about gasoline and lit cigs. Makes sense tho - I see a lot of gas station attendants in New Jersey smoking away. LOL

You don't have reactions to anything because you're emotionally detached and soulless. But we already knew that from your shitty opinions and dickheaded ramblings. May god have mercy on your soul.

Don't try to make a point to a guy who forgot a cigarette is more likely to start a gas fire than zombies taking over the planet. It's futile.

you're wrong, emotional wreck.

I have never been scared by a movie, to me that's pretty infantile to say the least.

I can laugh my ass off at good comedies. Even have some sort of empathy when someones dog dies in a movie (i guess because i grew up with dogs). I also laugh my ass off at funny crazy deaths, for example in the Fargo series i am watching lately. The 1st episode (spoiler alert) when Lester all of a sudden bashes his wifes head in with a hammer. Even though it was bloody as hell, it was extremely funny.

To take the the Porn Nerds example of the Exorcist, to me that movie was comedy gold as well. The filth that kid constantly says, funny as fuck. I saw it again a while ago, one highlight is also when she shoves her moms head in her crotch full of blood. It's so sick and crazy that it's extremely funny to me.. im laughing my ass off when watching it lol.

Maybe you were not raised religiously? Or perhaps laughter is how you cope with scary scenarios? "It's not real, it's only a movie..."

But again, that's ok. My best friend is so emotionally detached in general that he never, ever gushes about anything. I kinda feel sad for him. His life seems so controlled and passionless. Maybe this is true for you, maybe not. I know for ME I can choose which things I get emotionally attached to (movies, music, food) and for some reason The Walking Dead has hooked me emotionally.

That, and ZOMBIES!!!

What a great last episode. The producers are really stringing us along and keeping us in the suspense of when Daryl will die? Lol but I do believe atleast 2 of the major characters will die by the end of this season.
