Need WikiMedia like software, on steroids
 

We are looking for a piece of software that allows for internal documentation, templates, information, etc. in a Wiki style system but with advanced features such as permissions, etc.

What other CMS' on the market are worth checking out?

actually mediawiki supports all of those features you mentioned

try looking at Bitrix24 although it's more project management / CMS biased

I use mediawiki internally - works great and I love how easy it is to change/update.
