After a HUGE amount of viral marketing to "show off" their latest robotics, they've decided to dump the fucking thing:

This is surprising. Boston dynamics was supposed to make the terminators for skynet errr Google

the robots are those 'dogs' in question.. some sort of use for pack-horses for teams etc... however the military rejected due to noise

Boston Dynamics is being sold not closed as a filed enterprise.

I read that some of its creations cast an ''evil'' shadow over Google's sterling (cough, cough) reputation.
