Obama Heading To Cuba For State Visit
 

It's about time!

One of the things I really, really liked about Obama's promises in 2008 was that he was going to reach out to our "enemies".

Cuba is long overdue to be brought into the fold. 50 Plus years of the U.S. destroying their economy and keeping them isolated did nothing but hurt the people.

This is an excellent move by President Obama. And the party will be back "on" in Havana very soon!

Can't wait to go there drinking, gambling, and shooting some porn. ;)

Keep in mind how porn is banned there :)

I have no idea if "porn is banned" in Cuba. LOL

But I'm pretty damn sure that I am going to have a hotel room on the beach there and I will definitely be shooting when I do.

I love reading about the Bay Of Pigs, the Cuban Missile Crisis, what Cuba did to American businesses.... So much amazing history there. But at the end of the day all we have been doing is punishing the people of Cuba.

I've said since the beginning that I voted for Obama in 2008. This was one of the things that made me do so during the campaign.

I'm 100% for talking to our "enemies". NOT talking to them has been an abject failure for decades (as candidate Obama pointed out so well in 2008).

cheap real estate to be had in cuba at the moment...like 10K for a house...ok its not a deluxe western style house, but it has soul and what do you want for 10K...

I have respect for those who often criticize Obama's policies who can also identify when he does something they agree with and not be afraid to say it. :thumbsup

That being said, I volunteered for him during the last campaign and I am not a fan of Obamacare (but probably not for the same reasons those on the right are).
