What NOT to do while sharing screens with potential clients.

Was giving a presentation this morning to a potential client - several of their managers connected. It would have been a very nice client, but I think I may have fucked it up. I was going through my portfolio of sites, and mentioned that I also did Video FX as a hobby. They asked to see some samples, so I open a browser and I go to type in Youtube, but fucked up and typed You...then autofill took over. Out of habit, I just hit enter. Up on my screen pops Youjizz.com. Got some chuckles, but more sighs. The presentation was abruptly ended with a, "We're reviewing several candidates. We'll call you to let you know. Thanks." :disgust

Thank God it wasn't a limousine company, and I had to Google search, "Big Black Cars" to show SEO examples.

Oh yes the stupid human behavior of looking down on anyone connected with the adult industry while 90% of them jerk off to internet porn on a daily basis. Makes lots of sense does it not?

It was for an international Christian organization with deep pockets. I do adult and mainstream work. :disgust

Lesson learned; clear ALL browsing and search history before giving presentations in the future.

I have a dedicated non porn laptop just for this reason.

I use Firefox for my adult work and chrome for mainstream. Clearing your history or having a separate computer is probably a better idea though as it's way to easy for it to pop-up somewhere you'd never think of, especially when you're in a rush.
